I did Bleach Bath First
This review is for a mixture of 3 parts Cajun Spice + Honey Brown, over orangey ( bleach bathed brown hair).I did have a little, previous Adore Copper Brown - 2 months faded before the bleach bath, so I was starting with a lot of warmth, and I got just what I wantedFor all anyone who has trouble with the color not showing because you have dark brown hair, you can lighten your hair a ( little) the day before coloring, with bleach + 20vol developer & shampoo. I lifted the back & bottom, and washed the day before. I applied to DRY hair, left on for 2 hrs. It is highly advised to use gloves to rinse. For 1st wash, only use conditioner. Wait 3 days or longer if possible to ( wash). When shampooing, only use Non sulfate shampoo . No hair dryers, sun exposure, hot tools, or chlorine -When I go in a pool, I douse my hair with a quality Leave In Conditioner & wear a hat. I just don't go under water. These are tips, to pro-long your color Investment. This is my 4th year using Adore. Messy, staining, but I love the price, non damaging effect, no odor & results.Enjoy !((I earned no $$$ sponsored review))

Great color
Great natural -ish copper color! A little goes a long way so one bottle is usually enough for medium length hair. Color does not budge so if you change your hair color often consider that! Bleach may just turn it pink .

I got bleach spots everywhere
I bought this dye and brought it to my friend's house so we could all dye our hair together. I'm not sure how it happened but somehow i was In charge of bleaching everyone's hair and dying it. I got bleach on my pants (which are black) and on my friend's sock (which was brown), and she got them from Muji and were brand new, so she was kind of upset at me bc now she has tiny dots of orange on her socks even though no one will see them because they're freaking socks and they'll be hidden in her shoes. I also got bleach on my friend's floor, but she didn't notice so that's ok. My hair also got bleach on it but that was the plan 👍 and then we made rice balls

GINGER!
I (or my mom) have been dying my hair a golden blonde with a few variations for about 30 years. I've ventured into copper a few times but I couldn't find love. OMG!! adore lives up to it's name. I adore it :).The pic with my eyes showing is straight up Ginger color over a brassy golden blonde (bleached color not dye). I am so in love. The second pic is a mix of ginger, cajun spice, and a couple drops of sunrise orange. irl it was a bit too orange.I was scared to try ginger alone since when I swatch it on index cards it looks kinda yellowish. It isn't on my hair. I mix some with a lot of white conditioner and use that daily in the shower. I think that and a sulfate ect... everything free shampoo, helps color fade slowly over a month or more. I wash my hair every day in hot/warm water.

Doesn't last
Looked OK until after the second wash when it became more red than brown. A few washes later my hair was PINK. Won't use again.
