Great sound, quality and battery life.
I have-and had-my fair share of different headphones and earbuds, between cheap, mid range and a couple of what could be considered a āhigher endā oned like the JBL and Sennheiser. But I always find myself coming back to this form factor, I know most of the people I know prefer the lighter ones that donāt have neckbands but this form factor is my personal favorite. My last one lasted me a bit over a year before it decided to stop working on one side, and this is a common thing that I found with this type of earbuds and hopefully this one is not gonna do the same. Now comparing it to my last one that I have been using and had a similar price point that is a couple of dollars cheaper but it was the closest to this one so Iām comparing that one to this one. Both have vibration, but on this one the vibration is MUCH smoother, it feels like a better vibration motor inside. So thatās one point going to this one. Both had retractable cords but the other one was flimsy, so another point to this one.Volume is almost the same. BUT the sound quality and sound stage profile is WAY better in this one and the mids are very clear no matter how loud you pump the volume up.I like bass, but on my last one it was overpowering, in this one itās more controlled.Build quality, honestly canāt compare it, this is much more superior in this area. And this one is foldable unlike all of the ones I had with the same form factor which is a really big plus for me for portability. And I picked the matte grey one for a change ācause all of the other one I have are black and Iām not regretting that, the matte grey looks really nice and I love that itās not glossy.Battery life is one of the things that makes me prefer this form factor because they all tend to have bigger battery and therefore longer listening time. And this one is no exception. To sum this up to pros and cons and Iām almost sure it has been told before in the reviews:Pros:1-Vibration is a very nice feature, you will appreciate it mostly when you have the buds hanging down to talk to someone or whatever and get a call or notification because you will feel it.2-Build quality is really nice, I believe the cover of the hinges is some kind of metal.3-Sound quality is great, and I found out the āequalizerā feature by accident while I was fiddling with it and was surprised.4-Battery life as usual with this form factor is amazing, you canāt compare it to the smaller ones.5-Range, this is another area that this one shines at, my last one had a crappy range. If I move my phone to my back pocket or put it in a bag it starts cutting off, this one I had no issue at all with that and I even tested it as far as going to another room and the connection was solid.6-The carrying case is a nice add-on, I like that itās not custom fit and itās not a soft carrying case, I can throw in a couple of extra cables in there for my phones in there and even an extra set of smaller earbuds with no issue. Now to the cons, I only have 2 for the moment and will update later when I use them for a longer period but I believe they both are subjective.1st con is that it still uses micro usb and I wish it used type C.2nd con is that they are a bit bulkier than the rest of similar ones, might look a bit bigger on a small neck but to me they look and fit more than just fine.Overall I really like them and Iām watching them to hopefully drop in the price some in the coming weeks to pick a couple for some friends.

More cumbersome than my last pair, but overall decent
I got these as replacements for my beloved LG headset that was quite literally falling apart, and as that had been my most recent experience with a headset, I'll use them as an example comparison. In principle they're the same, but there are some key differences that make the Beartwo headset not my favorite ever. Internally, they're pretty much the same, the sound is decent (there are supposedly different equalizer modes, but I couldn't tell much of a difference between them), the connection is pretty fast, pairing is easy. These actually excelled when it came to range and battery - I was shocked that they lasted me for at least two days with pretty significant use before needing to be charged again. When I first used them for a phone call, I thought it was a good thing that the microphone was extremely sensitive, because I thought that meant my voice would be projected clearly, but it kind of turned out to be a hindrance, because I couldn't do anything while using them to make a call. A group of people could walk by 20 feet away from me, having a conversation at normal volume, and the person I was talking to on the phone would stop what they were saying because they thought somebody was talking to me. The main differences that make an impact on my daily use of these, however, were in their physical characteristics. For one thing, they're a lot physically louder than I had expected. My LGs had a slight buzz when connecting to my phone, and pulling the earbud out was a soft "tick-tick" as the cord unwound. The Beartwos make a substantially loud buzz when connecting (and if they're against metal, like a necklace, they rattle loudly), and pulling the earbud out makes a loud ticking sound (such as that could be heard from across the room). This might not be an issue for most folks, but personally I usually keep these around my neck and use them in quiet settings such as in studio classes, libraries, and at work, where there are others working nearby, and I generally try to make as little noise as possible - so for these, I end up feeling the need to step out to the bathroom to turn them on and pull the earbuds down. Ultimately not a big deal, but an inconvenience nonetheless. The structure of the headset itself is also pretty hard; my LG had been pliable enough that it draped around my neck and mostly conformed to the surface of my collar, and as such were more likely to stay in place if jostled. These have a hard plastic molded case on them which sometimes sticks out from my neck, and the main times that this gets in the way is (more occasionally) if I'm pressed up against something, such as a seat back, a bed, or giving someone a hug, it presses into both my collarbone and the other object or person, and also (more often), while working out, if I bend backwards at all or lie down on a bench, they slide right off the back of my neck. It's gotten to the point that I just don't wear them to work out because I know they'll be an inconvenience if I'm doing anything that isn't stationary and vertical - which sucks, because about 50% of my previous headset's use was for working out. The folding feature of the headset is nice, especially because the reason I switched from my LGs were that they were coming apart at exactly the place where there is a hinge on the Beartwos, but I'm disappointed that they don't fit the needs I was looking for. They may be a perfectly good choice for somebody else, but personally I'm investigating getting a pair of true wireless earbuds to fill the role I was hoping that this headset would.
