It’s good product but not for me
I cannot tell if there is any difference or improvement on my gum and teeth. I love herbs, but this mix tends to stain my tooth brush and my sink. I don’t think I’ll buy this again. It may works for other people and that is wonderful.

Great
Great, takes a bit to get used to but much less lead than many toothpastes. Use mouthwash after unless you want stuff in your teeth.

this stuff is AWESOME
UPDATE: 7 24 2014 - I LOVE this stuff and put it into many of my homemade concoctions. Everything listed in the ingredients turns out to be great for skin and hair as well. I put 1/4 t. in my 4 oz hair pomade that I make with WAXELENE, shea butter, vegetable glycerin, essential and carrier oils. I don't have an exact recipe, I just use whatever feels right and look for my desired consistency. I use 1/4 t. in my 8 oz body butters, which I sometimes use on my face. I haven't noticed any staining to sheets, etc., but it is ground up herbs and spices so if you're going to follow suit, keep that in mind. You wouldn't want to put too much in, since ground herbs and spices likely will not sink into skin but their benefit is absorbed. I don't notice any residue on my skin or in my hair afterward so who knows. Maybe it absorbs too? I don't know. I do know, that our skin and hair are better. We glow more, break out less and the texture of hair and skin (including face) is much better since using. I am African American and the hair pomade I make with this is AWESOME. I suppose that if one does not 'grease' their scalp or hair, they could still mix some into hair conditioner. I don't recommend for light hair because I don't know if it could stain. You'd have to test that yourself. You can also use it to make a mask for your face or add it to an already made mask or facial moisturizer. For facial moisturizer, I'd use 1/8t or less, depending on the size of the jar. Works excellent! Seems to help tighten pores, smooth and soothe skin. Less breakouts. I believe it is helping to keep my skin young. As far as use for the teeth, my gums do not bleed when I use this consistently and they feel more grounded (tightened). I had a tooth pulled and I believe it has accelerated healing. At first my teeth seemed brighter, then began to look stained, as well as my toothbrush. I remedied this by brushing with baking soda or toothpaste every so often. I like Rembrandt Deeply White. It too, does not leave any film in my mouth like many other toothpastes do.As far as the toothbrush, I learned to live with the light staining. I rinse the brush as well as I can and soak it in blue Listerine now and again. I also replace the brush heads more often.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I didn't have any issues with the taste. As soon as I opened the container, the smell of the herbs made me smile. The aroma was very pleasant to me. While this product is not for everyone, I enjoyed it very much and found it hard to stop brushing. I eat LOTS of sugar. In my tea, coffee, flavored coffee, etc. I do use a lot of raw honey and when I buy sugar, it's evaporated cane juice. I buy fresh herbs a lot because my apartment does not get the sun I would need to grow them. I do grind my own spices though, and very often. I drink many different teas, among them, Bengal Spice at least once per week, which may explain why I like the taste of this tooth powder.I'll have to update this post when I finish the container as to how well it works but so far, so good. I like the smell, I like the taste, it rinses right off my brush so I haven't experienced any staining to my teeth or toothbrush. I especially like the fact that there is no white film left behind, which I always get when I use commercial paste and I can eat right away after brushing. With commercial paste, I have to wait to eat, otherwise I can't taste my food over all the mint, etc. My teeth feel clean, but naturally clean. I wish I had found this before I had a tooth pulled. I may have been able to save it.It is way overpriced because all the herbs and spices on it's ingredient list are not expensive. I'd make it myself if I knew what quantities to use. As it is, I do not, so if I find that this works, I will continue to use.Hope this helps.

Helping heal my periodontitis and abcessed gums
I honestly don't know how I lived without this herbal tooth powder before.I'll be even more honest and say my dental hygiene practices were horriffic.Since I was a young girl, I've struggled with gingivitis and foul breath due toimproper diet and lack of proper hygiene. Well, over the years, this progressedto moderate periodontis. Being a weed smoker who also uses tobacco wraps, thisfueled the progression of the disease, yet masked the full effect of my bad habits.I had bleeding gums for awhile that disappeared so I thought I handled it fully. Nope. One day I wake up with a toothache so bad my head was pounding from the pain. I was in bed with afever wondering what the hell was going on. Looked in the mirror and saw my gum had abcessed and was infected.I don't have health insurance, so I was like d*mn, I've gotta handle this myself because I don't have $2000 to see a dentist.I attend the school Dr. C founded, and I was terrified to handle this myself, but I didn't have a choice.I went ahead and created a very aggressive plan because I obviously had moderate/advanced periodontitis coupled with infection.I bought floss, new toothbrushes, a water flosser, mouthwash with Echinacea and Goldenseal, oregano oil capsules, Dr. Christophers tooth powder, Dr. C's Infection Formula, Dr. C's Tissue and Bone capsules, castor oil, green tea, black walnut extract, and activated charcoal.First things first, I stuffed my affectedareas with green tea bags to bring the abcess to head. Within 30 minutes of the green teapoultice, my abcess started to drain! This relieved so much pain!I started to use coconut oil with tea tree oil to do oil pulling every morning.I added the tooth powder to a mouthwash and used 6times daily. I also made a paste out ofthis powder and packed it into my gums every night for 1 week as well as brushing 3x daily withthe tooth powder. The clove in the formulareally helps to numb irritation in the gums so I was pumped about that.I also brushed with a combo of castor and charcoal to pull toxins from the gums and mouth.Let me just say, I realized more than ever how important being aggressive and consistent is in herbalism.Within 2 weeks, my gums were more pink than they'd been since I was 9 years old. (I'm 27 now).My tooth has started to go back to its original position (tooth had shifted to due loose gums, abcess, plusbeing damaged in a motorcycle accident that knocked it even looser, lucky me!), my gums aren't itching, andmy teeth are 3 shades whiter. I was a believer before, now I'm an herbal bible thumper. Haha.Buy this powder, I've replaced toothpaste completely with this powder and my teeth, gums, and mouth have neverfelt cleaner and more nourished. Plus, its helping me to clear up this gum disease. My Mom bought this after Iwas raving about it, and also experienced fresher breath, tighter gums, and more pinkness in the gums, ratherthan dark spots.

Messy but leaves mouth clean
I expected this to work a bit better. I was hoping I would notice a difference, but I don't. Description: It is a fine powder of different spices. Not great tasting so, of course, I don't swallow. First off, when I use it, my teeth feel clean, so that is a plus. It is easy to use, just put a bit on my toothbrush and use as I would regular toothpaste. Cons: It makes a mess of my sink, and I need to clean up quickly, or it will stain everything it touches. I need to rinse about 3 times to make sure I rid my mouth of the powder. Then I use a water pick to make sure I get it from between my teeth. I am not sure if it will stain my teeth so I don't leave it in more than a few minutes. Highly recommend that you DO NOT INHALE until it is all wet in your mouth. Like I said, a fine powder of spices. Not a great way to wake-up your senses in the morning. Also, it is hard to get out of my toothbrush, so I change my brush more often. Guess that is a good thing. I tend to look for natural things before the regular store brands. I will keep using until finished and see where it goes.

Healthy Gums!
I love it! It feels so healthy for my gum and my teeth. My gums got much better. Using other tooth powders or tooth paste leaves me with pain because my gums and teeth are so sensitive. This one doesn't. It tastes..well, herbal and a little minty. I mix it with coconut oil and swish it for a little while to increase the effects of the herbs.
