Sari Foods Organic Acacia Fiber Powder (30 Ounce): Natural, Whole Food, Plant Based Prebiotic Superfood for Gut Health

I really like this product. I have used both Sari's and then Heather's acacia fiber; so far I like this one the best. It mixes well in cold or hot drinks--Heather's forms a stringy mass in hot drinks, so no putting it in your coffee, while Sari's blends well in coffee and is to me basically tasteless in coffee. I also (so far) find it more effective as a prebiotic than Heather's. More effective for the gut issues. Everyone asks about the color. What I think is that Sari's is much less processed than Heather's and so the color is darker. And that MIGHT explain the high levels of minerals in it as well, although another reviewer in the questions section pointed out that Sari's Acai powder also boasts the same level of minerals. I really hope the label is incorrect, because that level of iron could over time cause iron storage disease, and also contributes to a host of other diseases. Also, that level of calcium, in a single dose could contribute to kidney .stones and also potentially to atherosclerosis. PLEASE CLEAR THIS ISSUE UP, SARI FOODS! If Sari foods could confirm that there is not such a high level of these 2 minerals, then I would give their product a 5 rating. I am trying to research what the absorbability is of calcium and iron from acacia fiber, but no luck yet.11/19: SARI FOODS DID CLEAR UP THE ISSUE OF HIGH LEVELS OF IRON AND CALCIUM--IT WAS A MISPRINT ON A LABEL! THE REAL LEVELS ARE 0.5 MGS IRON AND 40 MGS. CALCIUM PER TEASPOON. This is okay, very happy. I also want to say that after using this for several months, my gut is so much better, and getting better all the time. I absolutely love this product, and will not be without it.

I received my Acacia Fiber yesterday and ordered it for relief from my IBS-D. After one scoop yesterday it has already made a difference! No urgency this morning; what a relief. The powder incorporated into one glass of water and had no taste. I will be adding one teaspoon each day to my coffee or water. I also take my probiotic at the same time to promote good bacteria growth. I am so happy I discovered this product and can not wait to see how I feel each day. The Acacia fiber promotes good microbiome and peace of mind for me. I highly recommend it. The products is organic and is a great value for the money.

I like how it mixes in anything hot, is tasteless and does not gel up like psyllium. I don’t like that it clumps in cold liquids.

Highly recommended. Arrived perfectly within a few days of ordering and in time for use while on vacation and having to adjust to a new time shift overseas, new eating times, and new/different foods from my more regular routine. Worked really well and has absolutely no taste which is incredible and a huge positive because it can go in any liquid. I am so very happy with this natural and organic product with no crap or fillers. And the dosage is only 1 tsp per day so very easy to pack the amount you need per day. So, the flavor is not nice. It tastes the way dirt smells. BUT, with that being said, that's the ONLY negative I have to say. The texture is not-existant ONCE PROPERLY DISSOLVED, so no yucky grit. (I HIGHLY recommend using a blender bottle.) I am using for weight-loss, and it's working. I dissolve 2 teaspoons into 8 ounces of water and drink before lunch, and same again for dinner. It helps me feel fuller and stay fuller longer. It has been a godsend to help me control caloric intake. 10/10; will be ordering again.

Terrible, faulty packaging. I have been using this Acacia powder daily for bowel issues approximately 3 years. The product appears to be effective. However, the last two bags have been defective. I can't reseal the resealable bag zipper. It is a very fine powder and a 30 oz bag lasts about 6 months. There is no way to easily transfer it. Frustrating.

I started this based on research that I did to support my weight loss, well I must say that since using this I have seen a 20% increase in overall weight loss, it takes away my sugar cravings and also reduces my appetite. Appetite was always an issue with me because I would always be hungry, but this definitely does the trick. I've been recommending this along with green bean coffee extract to everyone I know that is trying to manage their weight. Oh, and it has no taste so you can mix it with just about anything.
