I recently started using this machine to engrave on glass. Once you get the hang of using this machine, it works great.I have carved on 20 glass mugs and vases with no cracks. Using an old cup is a great way to gain experience with the tool and learn how to hold it to get the right cuts, this will improve your carving and you'll find you can make good pieces that make beautiful and inexpensive gifts. I give my carved pieces to my family and friends and they all love them.

The media could not be loaded. Well, this had been the exact opposite of a delight. It took me a cumulative 7 hours to get my first image to run. Because this device requires outside software to operate, you're on your own after connecting all the wires. The few software set up instructions you do receive aren't accurate or require additional drivers. After installing all of the drivers and following the instructions as best I could (Not accurate) I was hit with an alarm. Absolutely nowhere are there instructions on how toget past this alarm. It took 7 hours to get it. Now, this whole time I'll be honest, this is my lack of knowledge. If I were more educated on lasers and their software, it'd probably be pretty breezy. But then, just as I was starting to get it figured out, the mechanism for raising and lowering the laser went out.

Does a nice job engraving, build quality is solid and doesn’t take up too much space. It is limited by it’s size and adding an exhaust hose is difficult because the shield struggles to stay on when the hose is attached.

This laser is very precise; it has very high resolution. It didn't take very long to set up and start using. I love trying to think of new things to cut with this device and am always amazed on how well they turn out. The laser doesn't take up much space, so it can be set up pretty much anywhere.

The media could not be loaded. I had a big old engraver before that only worked with a computer and was super slow. This one’s way better—small, easy to carry, and way faster. I can just use my phone to create designs, which is awesome. Build quality is solid too. Really happy with it so far!
