IT'S LOUD. EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY.
For the money, I really like this unit.I wanted a system that would take an input for a cassette deck. This allows playback through the aux phonos on the rear. With more "regional EQs", I am happy to use it set to flat (0dB) with the bass boost on.I don't like the DJ function. But that should prove useful for parties. It cuts the end of a track and jumps to to next within a split second.I have tried out remastered ABBA, The Beatles and various METAL. I am very happy with the response and the sound quality.I spent 7 years selling HiFi systems and separates, 88 to 95. I was spoilt for choice to play my music on very decent makes. Back then LG was a budget brand offering about 5w per channel on their top equipment. WOW HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED!I use all of the functions (except for usb) but particularly the ease of Bluetooth from my Android. The volume scale has a max at 40. 17 is, for me, a sensible listening volume when in the same room. Not sure how the volume is measured nowadays. In my day, I would say it's approximately 2x 45w rms. But that is more than enough to upset the neighbours.Features... AUX input. FM radio (analog), USB, Bluetooth input, CD / mp3.The AMAZON pictures show the unit with red lights... these pictures are misleading... the unit does not light up around the volume dial, but the "lights" are reflectors and they are in fact reflecting a red light shone on them. The speakers have a coloured band on the cones, again these are not lights. The display panel information is the only illuminating part of the hifi.I bought this unit when it was priced at £79.99.

Cracking little hi fi.
Bought this little hi fi for a garden party. Was particularly interested in the blue tooth connectivity. It will connect to several phones in turn. Connects really easy and stays connected from a great distance. The sound through the speakers is really good. The wires on the speakers are not too long. So I purchased some extra speaker wire and connected the hi fi to some old Sony speakers I have. And WOW!! This little hi fi blasted the garden out. Sound was still really clear at high volume levels. And a nice deep base. For the price, considering I only purchased it for the party, I believe its real value for the money. My wife uses it in the kitchen now with the original speakers.

Perfect for any room in the house
Well for one I was actually shocked at how well the sound is from such a small HiFi the quality is brilliant well built. Money wise its reasonable and by this I mean it is quite well priced

A nice unit
I bought this to replace a cd/radio in the bedroom as it had stopped reading cd's. Therefore I can only comment on sound quality regarding these two functions. Overall the sound is excellent, although I would have preferred a proper equaliser rather than the preset region and sound effect options provided, but that is a minor quibble. The unit itself is larger than I expected (my fault for not checking) and is quite heavy. The fact that the speakers are connected by wire means you don't have to have them adjacent to the main unit. It would have been nice to have a dab radio option, but I guess you can't have everything. Overall it is well worth the money and I recommend it.
