This stuff is amazing, works wonders tbh. Can eat and drink without pain again.
I was hospitalised with supraglottitus, never heard of it either, several throat infection causing it to close among other symptoms. My mouth was overrun with ulcers, inside my lips, on my gums tongue and upper throat. After the ulcers started to recede I was released on antibiotics. But at home ulcers increased and some were really big, eating and speaking near impossible.I've been putting this on a collection of ulcers where my front jaw/gums meets my upper lip, right in the joint between the two and on a huge one on my lower lip, about 15mm long. Also on the underside of my tongue, about 15mm also but that's impossible to measure. Also on 2 on the top of my mouth, around 5mm each. The rest are too far back to comfortably deal withAnyway this stuff is a revelation. My case is extreme I know but this changes everything. It forms a coating, it's awkward to get in tight spots with a finger so use something else, flatter, fork or teaspoon handle if you've flat got flat ones. It forms a strange coating over the ulcer as soon as your spit touches it and it's incredibly good. I can drink a cup of tea, eat a banana and not be in agony from the covered ulcers. It lasts a long time, several hours on the lips. The under tongue one was trickier and that lasts long enough to get through a brew and a small meal, the flex down there is extreme after all.I 100% recommend this to everyone and I sincerely wish my doctors had told me about it. It is odd feeling but so much better then the pain which it immediately relieves simply by cutting out the friction and influx of solid and liquids as you drink and eat. Cheap as chips at this price, no proper taste or, no bad smell, easy to use after a bit of practice too.If possible dry the area you're applying it, that hurts I know, once you've smeared this on let the spit roll over it, don't rub it with a spit covered tongue or finger, let the liquid flow over it and it'll make a seal as a rubbery soft coating.

Finally it's back! Everything you need to know
OK so Iglu discontinued the original product a few years ago. I think it was something to do with new laws or sourcing the ingredients.Well this new version is here and it's pretty chill. If you've used Iglu before then it's pretty much the same. It's a paste that mixes with saliva in your mouth a forms a protective sticky gel over the ulcer. It's actually drug free, and simply works by stopping acids and bacteria from getting in.So the best way to use it, is to try your best to dry the area first, then with a single wiping action get it on there, dont poke or prod it with you finger just yet, because it will stick to your skin like glue. Then as the saliva starts to mix with it, wet your finger (which stops it sticking) and then you can sort of mould it around into the right place. Then after that it's stuck on, and won't come off for a few hours or until it's dislodged by eating. It's good practice to try and put it on before eating so you are protecting the area. Before bed, or before brushing your teeth, because toothpastes have lots of ingredients that can irritate a mouth ulcer further. The downsides to this product is that depending on where you want to put it, it's sometimes difficult to use or put on properly.

Great for pain relief
I had accidentally bit the corner of the inside of my mouth which resulted in a really painful ulcer. I tried bonjela but that didn't help. After suffering for a couple of days I did a search on Amazon and this product came up. I ordered and it came the next day. This product was a great find! The gel is quite thick. It comes in a squeezable tube. You squeeze the desired amount and apply directly to the ulcer. It then forms a jelly-like barrier between gums and teeth. This provided me with much needed relief and I will be recommending to others.I didn't rate 5 stars as it doesn't stay on for a long period of time. There is lots in the tube to be able to re-apply when needed.

Glad it's back!
Excellent when used properly (make sure the ulcer is dry(ish) beforehand otherwise it won't adhere- dab lightly with tissue) it forms a jelly like cover over the ulcer. It does expand a little so don't use too much. It usually lasts 4-6 hours, after which you can reapply but do rinse with salt water between applications. With the cover over the ulcer, I find that it is not painful at all and that the ulcers do not reach a large size before shrinking. The old formula used to have Lidocaine which numbed the area as well, but glad the new version doesn't as it doesn't need it!

Excellent product
Excellent protection. Just try and get the ulcer as dry as possible before applying the gel. Then smear a dob on with one wipe if possible. Great product.

No more pain!
Went looking for this stuff last year, it had vanished completely... Chuffed to bits its finally back! I suffer from grazes and cuts along my tongue due to sharp teeth. Bonjela just makes them sting so being able to use iglu on them again is awesome!

Best thing out there
Used to use this as kid and only just found it again. Way better than anything else out there for mouth ulcers, especially if you cut your lip often due to contact sports causing them frequently
