Bit Pricey But Works
Daughter dearest is constantly forgetting where she sets her purse down and this has went a long way reducing the stress of finding it, simply setup and put in a credit card slot.Easy to set up and use and accurate enough and with a beeping sound to ease locating it easier if it's under something so not immediately visible.Nice little device, shame it's disposable, inductive charging would have been great with it and lengthened the usable life.

Easy to set up. Fits nicely in my small wallet. Slightly thicker than a credit card.

Pointless.
Pointless, isn't accurate at all, good if you want to know what country your wallet is in but no more accurate than that.

Good quality, but will only last 3 years
If you are immersed in the Apple ecosystem you will no doubt be familiar with the Find My app and how it utilises any other Apple device passing nearby to ‘ping’ and locate lost/stolen devices. In well populated areas it’s a great system that means tracking devices need neither GPS nor a SIM card to discover their location and transmit that back to your iPhone/iPad/Mac. This card tracker can be located using either this network or if close by using bluetooth. The card itself is a little thicker than a normal credit card but still very compact. The biggest downside of this card is the non-replaceable 3-5 year battery, what a strange choice by the manufacturer. I have had very similar cards to this which support wireless Qi charging, which is a far better choice, and thickness is only minimally increased. This device is a good way to protect your wallet and priced at £18 (£26 with 30% voucher) at time of review would be good value given all its features, however it’s hard to recommend knowing it will be in the bin in 3 years time.

Actually very good
Why didn’t Apple think of this? I have a number of air tags and they are great for attaching to keys, rucksacks and the like and I even have one attached to my Secrid wallet, but I have to re fix it every time I access the cash pocket or one of the cards outside the pop up compartment.Along came this device which has a battery life of 3 to 5 years and then unfortunately you have to dispose of it. That is a shame but hopefully by the time it comes for me to purchase a replacement, like my Apple Watch and iPhone, perhaps the next incarnation of this device will be capable of being charged wirelessly. So what do you get? Actually a compact card, which in terms of surface area is the same as a standard credit card and almost twice as thick. It slotted very nicely into my Secrid wallet and pops up like all of the other cards. It functions well and having set it up incredibly easily it performs just like my air tag did before it. I am not in the habit of losing my wallet or keys outside the house, but I am well know for leaving them in wierd places and therefore to be able to find them using my phone, iPad, laptop is invaluable to me, particularly when I am in a hurry. In terms of sounds it emits a loud enough beep to provide reassurance that my wallet is in the house and is easy then to track down to its exact location.Early days but it does appear to work great and a shame Apple did not think of it when it created the AirTag.

Works well, to an extent
This card – card being the operative word, as it appears to be made from strong cardboard – is about twice the thickness of a normal credit card. It’s easy to set up but, like most generic type devices of this sort, does not enable you to track down its location ‘Find My’ app with the foot-by-foot granularity of the branded product. Instead, you’ll be given a very approximate location (seemingly mine was in my next-door neighbour’s house!) and will then need to rely on the beeping sound it makes to find its exact location. Fortunately, that sound is quite loud, even when it’s inside a wallet, but obviously will be quieter if the wallet/purse is inside a coat pocket or bag.I also struggled to get it to notify me on ‘Find My’ if I left the wallet behind somewhere. It might be that at 100M distance I still wasn’t out of range of the Bluetooth signal but personally I would like to be reminded that I have left my wallet at home when I am only a short distance away, rather than half a mile down the road.It should also be noted that there doesn’t appear to be any way of replacing the battery (in fact the description on Amazon states that it can’t be), so this could make the card quite an expensive purchase if the battery doesn’t last the ‘3-5 years under normal conditions’ advertised’.
