Really nice quality on these. Used them for a heat shield in my engine compartment and works fantastic. Sandwiched one of these sheets between a reflective barrier and it dropped the fuel rail temp well over a hundred degrees.

We bought this and cut it to size. It has been running in our pellet stove for about a month now through a cold snap in winter with no issues.

These are very high quality, not flimsy and true to thickness, these are dense and actually 1/4" thick. Cutting out template for propane gas fireplace burner pan. Actually think these are better quality than what came from the factory w/my unit.

This fireproof material can be widely applied to many uses. In my case it is ideal for making and expanding the size of my prebuilt furnace/forge. What many forget to tell you is that with this you really need to seal it once you have it cut and laid out how you want. I always seal mine with 3 layers 2 to 3 days drying time and at least 1 30 min to 60 min firing between each layer of the high heat or fireproof masonary concrete to keep harmfull detritis and vapors from causing you or others harm if you use it where it will be exposed to very high heat and or flames. I found it easy to cut, with a soft and pliable texture, easily cut and shaped into a lot of varying shapes and size. Easy to cut with a utility knife and scissors. Functions well with the ability to cut custom sizes and shapes well made and a good bargin for the price it meets and exceeds my requirements and seals well with the concrete fireproof motor I prefer Mr volcano I believe it's called.
