Good value
I think this is a pretty good piano. The keys are weighed though not has heavily weighted as some but better than no weight at all. The sustain pedal works well. However the metronome and the preset rhythms are not that great. I use it with a mic and the effects of the mic and piano together are awesome! I am very pleased with this purchase and it was a good value.

Fantastic value
I have been playing piano on and off since i was 5, and I was looking for a keyboard that wasn't gonna break the bank. This keyboard hit all my marks. Fully weighted keys are a MUST for me, and for this price point, they did an AMAZING job with that. Feels just like other fully weighted keys i have played. No sticky or stiff keys. Has all the basic functions you could ask for in a keyboard. Very comfortable and easy to play, with a very natural feel. I also need a large range of voices available when playing keys, and this definitely delivers that with over 200 built in sounds. I love that the sustain pedal is the real paino pedal style instead of most other keyboards at this price point that comes with one of those cheap plastic pedals. Also has support for a 3 pedal setup, which is pretty awesome. At this price point, i was prepared to make sacrifices when it came to functionality, but the sacrifices i had to make with this ended up being very minimal. If there was anything i would change about it, it would be that the inputs and outputs are 3.5mm instead of 1/4". Not a huge deal though. I can use adapter cables. Also, the built in speakers are fine. They do their job. Sounds is clear, and the volume can go pretty loud. The speakers just dont sound HIGH quality, just a bit more average quality. Expected at this price point though, and doesnt really affect me, as i will usually have it plugged in via midi or audio out.I was anxious about ordering because of the lower review rating, but im glad i decided to order. Amazing value.

Lacks very basic features which every cheap piano should also have
I was excited to buy this piano for my son. As a beginner he needs to learn playing piano with right rhythm. But, I was surprised and shocked to see that this piano does not even have basic feature of tempo adjustment of metronomes. How can their product team even launch a product with such a basic miss. Temp adjustment is available even in less than $100 pianos in the market. Was extremely frustrating to return this and buy a new one.

Good value for the money
The keys are fully weighted and touch sensitive. This digital piano is much easier to play than my previous keyboard. A (Sonart) with semi-weighted and touch sensitive keys. It does take a little bit of time to get used to the fully weighted keys. The default tone on this piano is set to 430 A. I noticed right away that the tones sounded slightly flat. After some research I discovered that Beethoven tuned his piano to 420-430. And tuning to 432 is easier to listen to and causes less stress than 440.The tones on this piano can be adjusted in 15 Hz increments but you can not adjust it to 440.So far I really like this piano. The speakers on this piano are so nice 15 watts that I no longer have to play the piano thru external speakers.I would like to know which edition of the French Dream Source is in this piano. It is a mystery.Anyway, I have new keys to play on and it didn't break the bank. And the suspend pedal actually works.3 weeks later. I am really enjoying this piano. The touch sensitive keys are great for someone like me who has a touch of arthritis and carpel tunnel in both wrists. A lighter action but still has the touch sensitivity so the music produced is very expressive. This is a great piano for a aspiring piano student.

Great value, Bad quality control
I was excited to get this new piano, $180 at the time of purchase for the features it had (mainly fully weighted keys) seemed like a steal. I ignored the reviews mentioning dead keys because the price was so affordable. Pulled it out of the box and low E was quite sluggish and drooped after every key press. If this piano was more expensive, it would have been a one star but at $180 it was certainly worth the risk. I’m returning this one and going to spend more on a more reputable brand, but I wouldn’t forsake donner completely in the future. It’s certainly a brand to keep an eye on. My biggest concern was longevity and repair support in the future. If it’s breaking right out of the box, I’d hate to hold onto it after the warranty.

Best deal for fully weighted keyboard
I'm not sure why the review average is so low at 3.7*. I went to guitar center to play the popular fully weighted entry level keyboards like the Yamaha P45 and the Roland FP-10 which cost around $500, and judging by the key weighting and piano sound alone, this piano is right there with them. I also regularly play on an expensive baby grand acoustic piano, and I can't really tell the difference in the key weight and response between the grand piano and the DEP-16 because Donner has done such a good job. Also the sustain pedal is better on this one vs the clunky plastic one you get with the more expensive Yamaha P45. If you're just interested in piano, I feel like this is a no brainer at $200. I can't speak to the synthesizer or other features because I don't use them.

Amazing Value
The Value is ridiculous. Weighted keys like this for 200 bucks is nuts. I am blown away how nice it is.

Not as tall as advertised by 9 inches.
I haven't tested quality yet, but it is much shorter than advertised, which is unfortunate because the bench I got was based on the measurements advertised. It is 28.75 inches tall, not 37.9 inches… a 9 inch difference is a lot.. the instruction manual also is terrible… the paperwork came crunched, the protective foam was broken and it was a week late…
