Useful Reference
The book is an excellent tool, and has solid advice. The book is organized into chapters, and is written in such a way that important things are made to stand out. It definitely gave me some perspective as to where my channel already stands, as well as what i need to improve on. I read through it once, and will absolutely be referencing it again as I venture forth with content creation.

What the Videos Don’t Tell you
The first section was good. Frankly I think a lot of it is something if we really sat down and thought about it, we would know. I mean its basic - make good videos - However, we don’t think about it and because it’s so simple we jump to “damn algorithm” or blaming mercury, when really, we need better lighting or a better mic. Good call.Second section, don’t jump in a pool of sharks. Love it. Carry on.Thumbnail section was really great. I have watched several videos on improving my thumbnail but I always felt lost. This section really explained the rule of thirds and linked to a great video explanation on how to make it happen. The only part that I struggled with is the video editing part. To me too many edits make a video hard to watch. That could be my neurodiverse settings kicking in. But I don’t need to see youtube videos that are perfect. I’d rather seen sincerity and honest emotion than a cut here, cut here cut here. Some of my favorite channels leave in the bloopers. :DThis leads right into to the last recommendation of breaking the rules. I love this. While we like to think if we follow A, B and then C we’ll be successful it just doesn't happen that way all the time. I have been a follower of T1J for a very long time. I found him because I was doing a search on Dreadlocks. Now, he has (as far as I have found thus far) one video on Dreadlocks. Me finding that one video lead me to become a loyal subscriber and to eagerly await his videos and to even purchase this book. So over all I love the tips and suggestions, I’ve even changed my thumbnail and my approach to story telling based on the recommendations in this book.Over all, I can highly recommend this book. Its worth the read!

Early preview early shares
First I want to point out that I was one of T1J's first 10,000 subscribers. Second, as a continued subscriber I got free access to this book early on for feedback. Third, this is the type of interaction that keeps me coming back to his content. He has consistently changed directions and shifted gears to what was authentic for him. His book is part of that philosophy of building a community up around each other. Its straight forward and clear. It is reasonably priced (bought it for a friend from their kindle account a few days ago), well layed out, and easy to read. I have already shared it with a few friends interested in breaking into the creator space. If reading isn't your thing, I get it, subscribe to his channel he just released an interesting short about Peg from Goof troop 🤣

A concise guide to content creation chock full of insightful tips
This was a breeze to read and, more importantly, useful for someone who has only been doing content creation on Youtube for about a year. There are insightful tips in here that I wouldn't have known about that I am grateful to be aware of now at such an early stage. I appreciated that it wasn't just a generic "do what you're passionate about and the algorithm will eventually reward you" type of rhetoric that you often see. This book gives tangible examples of the things you need to be focusing on, (thumbnails, lighting, etc.) narrowing it down to four main categories. The only thing I thought was missing was the acknowledgement of copyright, which is a huge barrier on Youtube and something I've already spent multiple hours fighting against. Other than that, this is well worth the investment. The first video I posted since reading this is already my most viewed video, and I don't think that's an accident.
