Appreciate that Amazon has this item on line for purchase. Filters are pricey but in my opinion do this best for Las Vegas ie Lake Meade water filtration. In the past have tried all the pitcher filters and find LARQ are the best.

Check the price of replacement filters
I love the fact that the UV light seems to reduce or eliminate any sign of green swampiness but the least expensive replacement filers are $27 each! I simply won't pay it for a filter that is predicted to last 8 weeks!

High Cost and Unavailable Filters
I bought this water pitcher believing in the technology, but I should have researched as the Filters are too expensive. Also, the company wants to force you to subscribe to buy their filters and it took some effort to undo that automatic billing. As of this writing, there are no filters for less than $32 with free shipping anywhere on Amazon or searching the websites.After three months, I threw the old filter away and stored this pitcher hopefully when the filters come down in price or for third-party filters.
