I use this everyday. I really purchased two but soon realized i really only need one for my typical days use. Absolutely easy to use no assembly. Amazing build quality no plastic. High quality metal. Be careful not to catch your hand or finger near the ratcheting element while removing, as it’s slides. That’s more of a user write than design flaw but trust me I’ve learned my lesson lol. I’m so glad i didn’t settle for cheaper ones great value for the money. Functions well for all hauling needs. I use it in trailer daily

This bed bar has been great so far. It keeps cargo items isolated to the part of the bed that I want, and I can secure light items to it with a cargo strap. 100% worth the money.One suggestion to the manufacturer would be to see of there is a way to move the ratchet assembly to one side or the other. It is currently offset some, but would make it much easier to tighten this from the side of my truck's bed rather than having to get into the bed of the truck for deeper applications. Not even sure if that is possible with its current design, but food for thought. This is NOT me saying that I am dissatisfied with this product in any way, just something that may make it even better. Would buy a second one and give it a sixth star if it could be modified in this way.

Upon unboxing, I couldn't move the release mechanism with my otherwise large, strong hands, and resorted to using the side of a screwdriver shaft to move it enough to find the rest of the mechanism worked well. Unfortunately, the slots to let that mechanism slide freely were either coated with too much paint, and/or the release 'handle' was bend during shipping. The retail packaging was popped out where the release handle could have punctured the box upon some impact. I am awaiting a replacement with high hopes for satisfaction.On the replacement bar, the release mechanism is still a little hard to get moving, but, once moving, works well.

I use this in my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD to create a secured area in the front of the truck bed so my fuel tanks don't fall over. We did a lot of cleanup work for Hurricane Helene and I was having to carry around diesel, gasoline, hydraulic fluid, Jegz of water, chainsaw pre-mix, etc. All those 5-gallon containers just made it difficult travelling those mountain passes and steep driveways.I just locked this in about 1 inch farther away from the cab than my gas cans and it's worked great. It's become a permanent place to put the fuel and jerry cans.I actually got a second one halfway down the bed for keeping the tools in place. You can install and remove it in about 5-10 seconds any time you need. Great tool to have for any truck bed!

This was the best one Amazon sells. It was so sturdy that I had requested a refund, it was pushing out more extension torque than the cinderblock concrete wall I was using it for, but I realized that it’s made very well. I realigned my bracing points, and it holds perfectly without it being screwed into or nailed into the walls. It a temporary unmolested surface. It holds up my ebike upright at 75 pounds, and gives me the added space to utilize the area. Creative storage solution. Great product, great price, great design.
