Closer2Nature - Yellow Geranium Artificial Plant; 24cm Fake Geranium Plug Plant; Artificial Flowers Perfect as Indoor Plant or Outdoor Plants - Pot Not Included

I had 8 empty hanging baskets which were filled with real plants last year. So this year decided to buy artificial varieties to savethe effort of having to water, feed & dead heading. You could mistake them for being the real thing as they look so realistic & ofcourse free of maintenance and should last for many years or perhaps a lifetime so good value for money.This plant is just one of a few varieties of this particular brand I bought and has given my garden a really good mix of colour to myhanging basket's to enjoy viewing from springtime to late autumn then store them away in winter as you would do with any realplants. I found that you need at least 2 plants per 30cm diameter hanging basket to give it a fuller effect.

It is illustrated as being in a pot, but it does not come with a pot!

Ive got several of these geraniums and they are really good. Yes they are artificial, but they don't fade, don't need watering and look colourful and perfect when you arrive back from holiday. Cheap as chips - you can bring them out every summer.

Total rubbish don't buy it, not worthy of 1 star but no option for 0. Arrived very squashed and with bits missing. It looks very obviously fake and nothing like the photo. Wouldn't be bad at £3 but £13 is a total rip off.

Bought these to replace my previous ones (bought elsewhere) that had become faded and old looking. Was disappointed when I opened the packaging. It was only wrapped in a plastic bag and had been pushed through our letterbox. It looked extremely ‘flat packed’ on arrival! From a distance they look ok, but they don’t look as realistic as my previous ones. Think it’s the plasticy looking leaves that let it down. I used 2 of the smaller sized ones in my pictured bucket. They look ok from a distance. Think they are a bit pricey for the quality though.

I'm dictating this to Ziska because I'm a bee and I'm buzzing mad! SHE's given these five stars - I'd give them nowt! Not being sure if she'll have the time to water a garden this summer, and also having a high slug population, she's experimenting with artificials. She has ferns and stuff that look after themselves but these geraniums are great, she says. She gets a small terracotta pot, fills it with cheap clumping cat litter, wets it, and then sticks the geranium (fluffed out after its journey) in. The litter sets like concrete and keeps the geranium anchored. Finish off with a few pebbles and you have that twee little plant effect that can't dry out and die off, unlike its live (for now) counterparts. They go well in larger arrangements too; she's yet to see how this Closer2Nature range stands up to sun and rain, but so far so good.All very well, but what about us bees then? Where's our ruddy nectar then? Every day I and my colleagues charge into the garden with our tongues hanging out ... fooled. I suppose when her campanulas come out we'll have a good nosh-up, but till then ... cruelty to bees!And if you can fool a bee, the effect has got to be pretty good.Yeah, and the slugs are FURIOUS. Hell hath no fury like a militant slug.Ziska, beware!

I bought these to put in my window boxes as I never seem to get the 'real thing's effect. They lasted for ages and looked real. You will need to replace them though as they will fade eventually from the weather but all in all I was happy with the purchase.

Colour was lovely, but was too small and not very full. Would need at least 3 for a pot. Very overpriced.
