Leather Work Shop Apron, Buckle straps, Heat & Flame Resistant Heavy Duty Welding Apron

This is obviously very cheap I expected a low quality item. I was pleasantly surprised with the product it’s actually pretty nice! It does have a very strong steel at first but I’m not concerned with that.

So far this apron has been reasonably comfortable to wear and offers a good length of protection.In case someone was worried about inherent odors, there was nothing offensive to the nose, even right out of the package.The apron is lightweight, so I'm going to guess this is less desirable for heavy duty work and more desirable for lightweight but potentially messy work.I used it to protect my clothing from splatter as I mixed and poured concrete into molds, so far it has been a good investment for a very fair price.

I haven't used it much as a welding apron because I'm lazy.... However I did use it as a welding blanket and it was inches away from the well. While it drew up the leather big time it did not burn through and had hot plasma balls of steel landing right on top of it inches away. If it can do that it'll work great for the DIY welder keeping sparks off their clothing.I'm 6'4 and 300 lb and it fits me fine. Lightweight and comfortable to wear.

This apron replaced my 1980's one that had cotton straps. The leather is nice and the nylon web straps are an upgrade. Tremendous value.

The leather is tough but soft covers me well
