Excellent shoe for hiking!
I bought this pair of hiking boots without expectations since I have trouble finding the correct size for my feet. Usually I end up very soar since I have a wide fitting. These boats fitted perfectly and are very sturdy and confortable. Also, water and dirt resistant. I would be definitely getting another pair. They also look great with most outfits. The grip is excellent for hiking outdoors and for daily walks.

great for wide feet
I got these a few weeks ago and wanted to wait to review. I need wide shoes due to a pretty bad bunion on one foot. I recently started buying WW shoes to accommodate my foot. Not only that, I recently had a bad issue with a knee requiring arch support in my shoes. So. These shoes felt good right out of the box with no socks. I am impressed with the toe box. My bunion doesn't feel pressure and toes don't feel squished. With my knee issue I did add an arch support insole. The big test was a pair of socks. I cant fit a thick pair, which I wouldnt want to do anyway, but one of my thin comfortable socks in the boot with my added insole and its feel great. Ankle support is perfect. They feel really solid and firm which to me is great. The price seems great, but I'll better be able to evaluate over the next several months to see how they wear. Seems like they'll be easy to wipe clean. If you have really narrow feet, you may need/want thick socks or maybe they won't work. For the price and the need for a wide boot, these are a great option.

It is really waterproof!
The best hiking boots with really good grip and support to the ankles! We did a very steep hike and it was the first time wearing these shoes. It was very comfortable and the grip on the soles was really good and saved us from slipping and sliding. The best part - it is actually waterproof !!Accidentally stepped into a stream and the shoe remained dry. Decided to walk through the stream rather than hopping on slippery rocks and they were still dry!!Couldn’t be any happier with a pair of shoes bought on Amazon.Bought size 8, wide and it really was comfortable and a perfect fit for my usually wide feet.

Comfortable and sturdy; but when walking, they sound like a candy wrapper
The media could not be loaded. Just got these boots yesterday and I wore them today on a two mile walk. They are very comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 in women's boots. This is the size I ordered and they fit perfectly. After a straight two mile walk on a dirt road, my feet feel great. They're not achy or tired. I did notice my feet felt really warm during the last quarter mile of my walk, but this could be from an elevated body temperature and wearing cotton socks.I did briefly go off the beaten path leaving the dirt trail for the woods. There were no issue with the terrain. The shoes managed the ground, the leaves, the branches and the bugs just fine. lolI ordered the brown color and they look great on my feet and I like that I can wear them with just about anything. I have to add these boots were purchased expressly for hiking in the back woods. Once the terrain dries out from the recent rains, I will see how these boots hold up after a three mile hike in the woods. On a side note: these boots are noisy. Not sure why? When walking, it sounds like I have a candy wrapper inside the boot. Is this from the material they use to form the tongue of the shoe? Perhaps its the material used to make the boots waterproof? It's most noticeable on the right boot; although the left one is also producing the same sound, but it's not as loud. (See attached video) This is not a deal breaker for me unless these boots don't hold up to rugged terrain. And perhaps the sound will diminish or go away completely after some use? I'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed this same noise when walking in their boots?Even though the noise from the bending of the boot during walking is a little odd, aside from that I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm hopeful they'll hold up for more aggressive activity in the future.

Absolutely love but NOT waterproof
These shoes are so comfortable, and lightweight enough to run or climb in! Excellent grip and for the price, I would buy again and again-- though they are not close to wearing out. Definitely NOT waterproof though.

BEST Hiking Boots
These hiking boots are incredibly comfortable and required almost no break-in time. I wore them on a hike, and my feet felt supported the entire way. The grip is excellent, even on wet rocks and loose gravel. Highly recommend for anyone who hikes regularly and wants both durability and comfort! Almost paid double for Columbia boots but I’m SO happy with my purchase.

Affordable, Comfortable Hiking Boots
I had never worn hiking boots before, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these were! I walked about 20k steps in these and my feet didn’t hurt at all. I’m used to my tennis shoes that make my arches hurt after a while, so I was so surprised that these were so comfy. The price was very reasonable and I would buy them again. They kept my feet dry, even when we got rained on our entire vacation. They were good looking for hiking boots. Honestly, these boots make me want to hike more.

Absolutely perfect!
I wear a size 6.5 wide and these are a perfect fit. I tried on a lot of boots including some very reputable brands but they were not comfortable. These are extremely comfortable and lightweight with no rubbing or squeezing. They are not waterproof but they provide enough protection when the ground is muddy and provide great support for my ankles.
