DICK TAYLOR CHOCOLATE Bar Chocolate Brown Butter Nib Sea Salt, 2 OZ

This chocolate bar is amazing! I am in "Chocolate School" (Ecole Chocolat) and need to taste single-source chocolate for my homework assignments...sweet homework! Mr. Taylor's bars always arrive extremely well and professionally packaged, and the bar itself is absolutely beautiful with his very detailed seal imprint on the bar. You will be very happy with this bar..it is very smooth and buttery. The nibs add some nice mild crunch to the bar. Savor it! Something this good is not meant to be gobbled down. I will be ordering many more bars from this great craft chocolatier. Thank you, Dick Taylor and your staff! Keep up the great work.

Love this wonderful chocolate from San Francisco

Ummm, I'm not understanding the positive reviews for this chocolate. First of all, I'm am a fan of very dark chocolate, I usually buy the 88% or above if I can. This is 73% so it should be decently dark, but it doesn't take like chocolate, or even the brown butter. Has a very chemically-like taste, falls apart/crumbles super easily, not hard and brittle like dark chocolate should be. Not savory. Dark chocolate is meant to sit in your mouth as all the flavors unfold. There is only one flavor here and it is not good. Booo!

This product arrived improperly packaged in a soft padded envelope. I know from prior experience that this chocolate is delicious but this bar arrived broken to bits. Would not recommend you purchase from this vendor.

The chocolate is old and has white pice mildew. And now I can’t return ??

I got this for free as part of a pack from a conference. It looks very fancy, nice packaging, but it tastes terrible. It's 73% cacao, but it is much more bitter than any 73% I've ever eaten. The only two discernable tastes are bitterness and a slight saltiness, which combined together is not particularly pleasant. You can't really even taste the chocolate it's so bitter. The bits or whatever add some crunch but do nothing to improve taste. I would avoid.
