nice game
great addition to a great series of games, nice additional rules to the original game, this is also standalone so no need to have any other version

One of the most attractive of the Ticket to Ride versions - and at an incredible price.
This review is for 'Ticket to Ride: Germany', a standalone version of the by now classic game, and for less than £20!Ticket to Ride is a game we play often, mainly the America and the Europe versions. I bought this after a heads-up from Amazon, even though I could find only one review on Amazon of the game, suggesting it hasn't sold. Germany still doesn't tick a lot of boxes for many non-Germans - a mistake, in my opinion. This is a beautiful product: a gorgeous (one-sided) board map of Germany, with all city and country names in German. The train car cards are the same turn of the 20th century images as the ones that came with the Märklin edition of the game. The tickets are the same as those issued with the Jubilee edition - Jubiläums-Ausgabe - again with a turn of the 20th century flavour. Plus 60 meeple-passengers in 6 colours, for whom players can score extra points at the end of the game. What's not to like?In every respect this is another very high-quality version of the game we know and love. I can only assume that this English-language version hasn't sold and has therefore been remaindered at a ridiculously low price.

Great game but smaller edition than the original
We ordered this game as I remembered playing with the Europe version some years ago. When we received it I was disappointed as I expected the same size, complexity and length of game as the others as I was not aware of the different sizes. So this is NOT AN EXTENSION BUT A SMALLER AND SHORTER GAME, but it is still enjoyable and I think it's best for two people. It was very easy to re-learn the rules again and since then we played it every day in the past week.I would recommend this game to others too!

Absolutely love this TTR
I'm a big TTR fan. Have quite a few of the expansion and base games. Not the legacy or Rails and Sails though. I love Germany cos if the Passenger Meeples. They add that unique angle to this map. We play exclusively at 2 player and we both enjoy this map. TTR can be quite frustrating when your opponent inadvertently blocks you. We play as unconfrontaitonally and diplomatically as we can. Great game. Would always recommend any TTR.

Great
A great variation on the many ticket to ride games. This one is a little more complex (with the two different modes of transport) but still simple enough to pick up and play if you’ve played any ticket to ride before.

Highly reccomended game, and great service
Came quickly and in impreccible condition. I cannot rate this game enough! Can be a tricky to learn to begin with but as soon as you get into it, it is very addictive! Perfect for the family game draw. I bought for my 8 year old nephew and he loves it!!! Also a great game for adults (definitely in my top 3 all times games), but personally I prefer the bigger boards for adults (i.e., original north america and europe boards). Takes about 45 minutes to play. Instructions could be a bit better

CHRISTMAS PRESENT
We have had this game for a while now and introduced some friends to it. They love it, hence it being bought for their Christmas present. It is different to the other versions in the series as you can collect 'Meeples' on route, which go towards the final score tally, and makes it more interesting and strategic to play.Highly recommended and the trains and train cards can be used in 'add-on' games, where only the maps and destination cards are provided.
