Ariel, with Ultra Oxi, Powder Laundry Detergent, 105 oz 66 loads

Love love love this detergent!! We originally purchased the smaller bags at the big box store to try to save money. We had been using a big name brand liquid and it was just getting too expensive for our family.When the big box store kept being out of stock, I turned to Amazon. This big bag lasts our family a long time and is a great value. Works great for most dirt, etc. I will use extra stain remover for hubby's grease spotted clothes if they don't come clean the first wash, but I had to do that with the brand name detergent as well. I have recommended this detergent to many people. We absolutely love it. Doesnt take much per load. Smells great and lasts a long time.

I was a fan of Tide most of my life but the budget dictated I make some budget cuts. Being the nerd I tend to be, I researched Consumer Reports to find more affordable options. I switched to the other well known brand, but noticed my whites weren't as white, stains were not coming out, and colors were starting to look worn prematurely. So, I put my research hat back on and started digging for another laundry detergent that was effective and wouldn't break the bank. I learned that P&G makes Tide, Gain and Ariel. I had never heard of Ariel. Plus it's a powder. I have always had good success with powders in the past.Well, I love how effective Ariel is in cleaning my clothes, removing stains, and the scent is amazing. This is every bit as good as Tide and much less expensive in my area. I would highly recommend for most people.One possible concern is people with scent sensitivities. The scent is fresh but it is a little strong. I personally love how it makes my clothes smell, but as an RN, I know some people cannot tolerate strong smells, even good ones, so felt I needed to mention it in my review. If you like your clothes to smell fresh and clean after washing and drying, this product is worth trying. You won't be disappointed!

This is by far the best detergent I've used. It works effectively in both hot and cold water, getting clothes thoroughly clean every time. The scent is mild, fresh, and very pleasant—not overpowering at all. I definitely recommend giving this one a try!

The smell is nice and makes clothes smell fresh but the downfall is how messy it is, the plastic bag is not ideal and it doesn’t come with a scooper. And it sticks on to the washer and leaves residue you have to manually scrub it off.

This is the best laundry detergent by far for me. It cleans the clothes as good as tide if not better. I have 3 teenage boys so trust me. I like smelling laundry that smells like nothing bad has happened to them. Even tho I know alot of smells WERE there. Easy to use and measure out. A little goes along way. Doesnt damage clothes or fade to my knowledge yet. Me and my youngest have very sensitive skin and no problem so far. I use fabric softner and oxy additives in my laundry so i cant say for softness on this solely by itself. But i switched from gain liquid and tide because i love this powder so much.
