This Lip Balm WORKS
I’m 81 and began having “scales” of hard dry skin on my lips 2 years ago. NONE of the other lip balms stayed on my lips very long. I was actually shocked when I found O’Keefe’s Lip Balm! The BEST!
I can say without hesitation I love this stuff. I was happy to find the "cooling" version here as it's WAY cheaper than the regular as far as I can tell it's the same stuff. get a couple they don't seem to ever go bad.

The tube shape is oblong - not round
I like it better than the Carmex I was usually wearing because it is also peppermint-y. I do find the oblong shape to be odd, but not a significant issue. I can't seem to decide which way to hold the tube while running it over my lips. Width wise? Long wise? I seem to have settled for an angled/diagonal approach for the most even application. Because of the menthol, it does still dry out my lips if I use it too often, but if I keep reapplication in check and only use it when I really need it, I don't have that problem.

Only thing I’ll buy again
This is the only lip product I’ve ever gotten that I actually feel like consistently hydrates and doesn’t make you dependent on it. I’ve never had fewer issues with my lips actually. I think my lips were just perpetually chapped and cracking for YEARS before I started using this. Now, the worst that happens is they may be dry if I don’t use anything for a day or two. Extreme difference though between dryness (normal in Colorado winter) vs chapped & bleeding. This has truly repaired.
