Great hold, easy to apply. The size of the container is within the TSA limit. I heard this product line was discontinued, but I hope that's not the case. I bought 3 containers just in case. The 3.4oz jar lasted me about 4 months of use, and I use it 4-5 times a week. Does not add much shine to the hair, just enough weight to hold the hair in place without looking like it's there.

Recently donated 28 inches of my hair to children with hair loss foundation and I had this recommended by my stylist. Never really knew how to style my hair this short and I have to say, this product is perfect and holds my hair the way I need it to. You only need a dime size so I know it'll last a while! Plus, this brand doesn't test on animals! Win win for me!

Been using this for years. If you have short hair, this is great for a pretty strong hold, but doesnt look like you have a ton of product in your hair, if any. It has a great matte finish and a good smell. It is a little sticky, but thats a good thing because it holds your style all day. Best part is that you can adjust it easly with your hands, even if they are dry. Its also well priced, way better than a salon product.

I decided to try out a different hair styling product. I typically use the Dove molding paste, but this caught my eye. It has a very nice and light scent, and it has a pretty nice hold. It is much more of a lotion than the Dove product I use, and I think this has a different hold and texture purpose, but it's good none the less. I will stick with my Dove for my everyday go-to, but I like having this one for a fallback in case I just feel like using something different for whatever reason.

This is my husbands favorite stuff to use.It gives you great texture, it keeps hair lightweight and flowy.The quailty is incredible!It's sticky and weighs nothing.Your hair wont feel drowned with this stuff.It also smells good!

A friend gave me a jar of this a few months ago to give my fine, naturally curly hair some body. I keep my hair short (I let a barber cut it - they give great cuts). After washing I always use some volume thing in my damp hair. When I am ready to go out, I use my palms to apply just a little of the Garnier Fructis surer hair putty to my hair. I fluff it...it gives it VOLUME and as much spike or movement as I want. Use a very little and you get volume, use a little more and you get a lot of HOLD and it stays all day.I absolutely love this stuff. AND I want to note that I am a senior citizen with totally white, short spiky hair. Being an artist, I need to stand out a bit. I hope they don't discontinue this.

Not terrible. But not great. Smell is a little weird.

I put this in my hair when it’s still damp and then blow dry. Makes my thin fine hair look and feel thicker with more volume. And the price is fantastic. It works just as well as products 3 times the cost! So glad I found this!
