I don't use it as a face covering, I use it for covering my neck while hiking. It protects from sun exposure. It's breathable and lightweight. It could be a bit larger but it's not that big of a deal.I went with the bright hunter orange as I think it would be helpful for spotting me should something ever happen and I end up lost or injured. I could tie it around my hiking stick or something and wave it around. I could just be overthinking it though.

Great neck gaiter. It’s adequate to cover entire neck and use as a mask or hair covering. Love it. Washed well in cold water.

The media could not be loaded. This was $12 and that’s fair for what you’re getting. GOT Sports has fabric that is slightly thicker than Erodyne (another brand sold here), and all seams are sewn down. The fabric reminds me of an Under Armour shirt. The print is only on 1 side, it’s white underneath. The fabric does have some light showing through but less when doubled up. This is light weight and ideal for spring/summer outdoor activities like hiking, cycling etc. This is versatile and can be worn in different ways- neck protection, face protection, as a hat/scully, as a headband, or a hybrid of those ways.I had also purchased similar items from Erodyne and Coolibar. Do not waste your money on Erodyne. Erodyne’s fabric has a raw hem and is too transparent to really provide sun protection. Coolibar has the best fabric, more of a medium weight but still breathable, all seams sewn, and a unique design. COOLIBAR is elite for sun protection and their fabric is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation! Coolibar has a few different styles and the one I have is $23. If worn for neck protection, it has flaps for a little chest coverage. Go with Coolibar if you can. It’s worth it. But this is still a good, versatile, budget friendly option.

Love this gaitor. It stays in place and is very breathable. Used it all summer sailing to keep sun off my face. Works great. Several washes and it still looks new.

Made from breathable fabric that protects from UV rays. Much less expensive than some of the high end manufactures offer.
