Totally worth the money!!!! I truly think that this car seat carrier bag on wheels helped eliminate numerous amounts of arguments during our first track with it!We only fly a couple times per year and would get the bright red car seat carrier bags which we had to get every time we flew. The first time we checked the car seat when we checked our bags and I did not think it would last for the trip back home. Times after that we would gate check the car seat in the red bag and it would still sit there as we got off the plane appearing that it was not going to survive the walk through the airport. The car seat did not sit in there snuggly and would make it awkward to carry.If you could think of the “Cadillac” of car seat carrier bags then that is what this Chicco Car Seat Travel Bag is! Our car seat is the Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat and it fits perfectly in there! We gated check the car seat (and stroller but we aren’t talking about that) and therefore had to take it in and out of the bag when going through security which really was not bad at all. It might not have been that bad because of all the other perks of the bag! It is so much more comfortable to wear while carrying as a back and if you are not carrying it like a backpack then there are no complaints there either! The roller wheels make it so easy to wheel the whole way through the airport... our 9yr old son would roll it on occasion and even the 2yr old. It rolls so easily that sometimes our 2yr old would let it get a little crazy and wheel further away from us and not in the exact direction that we were walking but totally better than the other bag we would get! Although we have only taken this on one back/forth trip so far you can’t even tell! We did gate check it for both flights but there is barely any wear on the bag and still looks brand new (we flew via Allegiant airlines out of a medium airport into a busier airport and then out of a small airport back into the medium one if you think bag handling makes a difference).Other than the cheaper red car seat travel bags this was the first rolling one that we got and we have only taken one trip with it so I don’t have many other comparisons. I was a little hesitant about the price... the others have been around $10ish making this one more expensive. My better half at times tries to act like I like to spend money lol but he was more impressed with this than I was (mainly because he is normally in charge of the car seat on trips)! We got so many compliments on this while we traveled that many others noticed how awesome this is! Our youngest will be in a car seat for at least a couple more years and I believe that this will be the last car seat travel bag we will ever have to buy!

Fits the car seat perfectly. Guaranteed for all Chico, but fits other brands as well. Very sturdy and durable which is essential for airport travel. Much easier to roll around instead of carrying the car seat in a plastic bag or just on its own.

This is absolute necessity for travel. I was hesitant about spending the extra money for this bag versus the cheaper ones with no wheels, but thank GOD I went for it. It stands tall, so its super easy to use the handle and roll it around the airport. Im so glad we decided on one with wheels, because we already bad plenty of bags/backpacks. I cant imagine if we had to carry this on our backs too. Also, this bag was a perfect chance to take a giant pack of diapers & wipes on the trip without having to make space in our checked bags or carry ons. Such a parent hack!I have a graco infant travel system and this bag fit my car seat & base perfectly. My tip is put the car seat in first and put the base face down over the car seat to make it fit. You can squish diapers or whatever else in the car seat and they're protected by the base!Also, Its worth it Just to protect your car seat from damage. Its a canvas material, but anything would be better than nothing. Our first flight using this and our stroller (which had no bag) was broken, scratched & missing pieces. BUT our car seat was completely fine. I cant imagine how our trip would have been without protection for the seat.Worth every penny. Only suggestion I would have is a suit case-like handle so taller people can roll it efficiently. Im 5’7 for reference, and it was perfect for me. My 6’1 husband found it a little awkward.

I dragged my “lightweight convertible car seat” through the airport one time before I was aggressively searching for options- yes it was lightweight but it was ungainly and the last thing I wanted to be hauling through the airport with a baby and luggage and stroller- I thought about pros and cons of basic gate check bags at a fraction of the price but ended up splurging on this because reviews said it could fit multiple seats and we are planning on having more kids over the years and we fly at least 10 times a year, and worth investing in a quality product now. This glides easily and can attach with a strap to a 4 wheel roller to make this super easy to get through the airport. It can also fit quite a lot in addition to a car seat (think free luggage check) and I do think it could fit multiple cocsco scenera next Seats or a convertible seat and an infant seat without base. I do not use this to go to the gate anymore it was such a pain waiting for the extra screening at security and still just more to haul around- I just check this for free and make TSA easier on us. Right now we have a lap child but once he’s two I plan on using CARES harness and keep checking the car seat.Update July 2022:I’ve now had this bag for 2 years and bought my 2nd bag several months ago for baby #2.The bag has been on over 40 domestic and 16 international flights, and doesn’t show any signs of wear at all. I have fit a Nuna rava and britax marathon in it (which is my new favorite travel car seat). We put a small duffel bag, a pack of diapers, and each kids Joovy travel tent in with the car seat and it isn’t remotely cramped. It’s nice to have free checked luggage even on economy basic with this car seat luggage! I’m sure I’ll be back to buy a 3rd if we have another!
