Great paper litter
Purchased for my cat after foot surgery, who was in a splint and on crate rest for about 8 weeks. To keep things clean, paper pellets were recommended by the surgeon. Worked perfectly and she had zero issues adapting from traditional clay litter. The pellets worked great at absorbing all fluids, though once dried, would separate again, instead if clumping, making it hard to distinguish clean from soiled pellets. Solids sort of clumped, but not well. Just to make things easier and keep as clean as possible, I'd scoop solids as soon as they were produced and dump/refill litter every couple days to clear litter soiled from fluids. As the pellets absorb everything, nothing ever stuck to the tray, like traditional litter, making it easy to dump. After dumping, I'd just spray the tray with cleaner, wipe clean and refill. By doing this, we never really had an odor problem, but it did feel wasteful (and time consuming!). I'd go through 1 large bag per week for just 1 single cat with 2 litter boxes. I know how bad clay litter is and would absolutely use exclusively for all 7 of my cats if more affordable and efficient.

Switched to this after my cat got a paw infection from scoopable litter
I have been using this product for quite a while. I have 2 cats and my one cat got an infection between her paw pads and according to the vet, it was likely from clumping litter getting stuck in there. Thought I'd give this a try because the pellets are larger. Wasn't sure if my cats would take to it as it's an entirely different texture but they transitioned immediately with no issues. Instead of scooping now, I just change the litter entirely once a week in 2 litter boxes (I put a generous amount in each time to get more mileage from it). My cat hasn't had a paw infection since. While it ends up being a bit more pricey, the subscribe and save helps and I like the idea of using a recycled newspaper- based product for the environmental benefit. The product is clean - no dust that you get with scoopable and conventional clay litter. Also feels more hygienic for the cats, because it's getting completely changed once a week, vs. keeping a base of used scoopable in there for longer. The pellets are large and can't get stuck between paw pads and I'm not finding little grains of litter all over my house as I did before. Although the bag is heavy, it is less heavy than conventional clay litter. One warning though - the bag gets shipped in a box and if you use a knife to cut the box open, you will slice a hole in the bag, which is a pain. Better to just slice the sides of the box and rip it open from there.

Impressive product!
We use this for our foster cats and kittens. Some kittens will eat clay litter and that’s not great, so we prefer this style. It traps smells relatively well. It doesn’t clump, but I don’t expect it to. It does sort of disintegrate when it gets wet. We are able to scoop the solid matter out, though. This also doesn’t track around the house as badly as traditional litters do because the pieces are larger. I haven’t had any cats refuse to use it yet, and we have been using it for several years now. Photo of cute foster for tax because no one wants to see pictures of cat litter.

Switch to this.
Switched from traditional cat litter and will never go back. I've been using this and like it but it does have a small so doesn't hide the cat smell as well as traditional litter.

No tracking!
I am so glad that we switched to this brand. The pellets are large enough to not be tracked through the house. The dust level is minimal. We do use more of it than regular litter because of minimizing the smell but it is worth it since there is no tracking.

Paper litter for the win!
Amazing litter! After using clumping litter and my kitty being operated for kidney stones, I was looking for a natural litter that would also help cover smells & I finally found it! It’s great and my very pocky cat loves it. Very easy to clean as well.

Fresh News Review
3.5 starsMy cat had surgery and she needed to use special litter during her recovery. The pellets did a good job absorbing urine. As far as her poops went it just sat there and it would smell. So I would end up changing the litter daily because this product doesn’t clump. The dust was low. I wouldn’t use this an everyday litter but it suited my needs for her post op care.

It’s okay
Never used pellets before for cat litter but I needed to buy some in a hurry for our new kitten who has special litter needs. This was one of the first few I came across with better ish reviews so I bought it. It’s okay. I have the same concerns as other reviewers about the plastic in the pieces. There was a lot. The pee just gets absorbed into the pieces so it starts to smell bad after a short time. It worked for a what I needed as a starter bag of pellets for a first time pellet user in a hurry. I wouldn’t buy it again though
