What did I do without this in my life. So easy to use, easy to clean. Brilliant. Only thing is it's large not easy for small kitchens or small cupboard space.

As with all items, treat with respect and it should last. Good value steamer. I had a steamer years ago which eventually broke and I tried the traditional boil water on the job steamer. That method usually results in over cooking. Using this steamer is gentler and you’re more likely to get good results. Even when I have over cooked the vegetables, they are still tasty and retain flavour. Very easy to use and the steaming pot is great of small veg like sweetcorn and rice. Easy to swill under the faucet, I don’t use dishwasher as I’m sure that will shorten the life of the plastic parts. Dishwasher usually shortens life of everything including metal pans. I’ve even steamed fish using this product. It’s a good versatile and flexible product that does what it says on the tin.

It’s nice to know I’m in control and not the machine being in control. I always feel that anything that is is man made, we are at the mercy of a mechanical intelligence.This machine gives you adjustments to your own ideas and thus the steamer works for you and not for it.Yes, very well thought out electronics and a must for any steam job you need to do.Set the timer and it steams to perfection…. 10 stars!!!!

This steamer is so simple to use. It has three baskets, each one holds a good quantity of food for my family of seven. No hassle cleaning, just was the baskets with removable bases, in warm soapy water. Haven't used the rice bowl yet. The only let down in my opinion is that the power cable is very short. I would certainly recommend this steamer to anyone looking to buy an electric one as an alternative to a stove top/hob top steamer.

Not impressed with the plastic containers, if dropped look like they will crack, bottoms of each container don't fit perfectly and rattle around, this is not worth the extra money, Am not convinced the plastic will withstand numerous dish washer cleans , previous steamers i have bought with this style of plastic have shown signs of crystalization after 12 months of dishwasher cleaning, should have stuck with the original Morphy Richards unit I was replacing, contsiner still durable after 5 years - definitely not worth the extra money, however is larger and works well

Bit of a pain to be honest!It takes a good 6 minutes to warm up and start steaming.The removable bottoms on the tiers are a pain.Because of the massive holes in the centre of the the tiers anything small falls through, this contaminates the water reservoir.Look, it works ( eventually) but if you just want to pop 3 layer of veg in start it and come back it’s probably not for you!

This steamer has a digital display which I liked, along with a 1hr keep warm function which kicks in automatically when the pre-set timer finishes. There are several presets - vegetables, chicken, eggs, fish, etc but I mostly use the set minutes (personal choice). So far it has cooked potatoes and vegetables perfectly but I haven't tried cooking rice in it yet. The steamer is very easy to clean and the steaming baskets feel solid. The lid is easy to hold. There are lots of positives with this steamer - if you are considering it, don't hesitate, it's worth the money for sure. The large capacity is useful if you have a large family or are cooking large amounts. The product also comes with an instruction manual which contains some recipes.
