Romantica: The Very Best Of Luciano Pavarotti

Unfortunately the CD arrived broken.

This is a wonderful sounding CD, much better then some of the other CD compilations I have of Luciano. The remastering is excellent. Also the song selection is wonderful, a fine collection of Opera and Italian classics. Highlights are Caruso, Torna a Surriento, Mattinata, O Sole Mio (does anyone do it better?), Una Furtiva Lagrima, Dalla Sua Pace and Nessun Dorma (almost rattles the speakers, but is mastered just right to understand the power of Luciano's voice without distortion). Heck, every song on hear is a highlight, its a great collection and sounds wonderful; Fantastic. It's a must have for any Pavarotti fan.

I hate CD's. They scratxh so easy, this is my 3rd one!!!! One of my favorites also. Thank you for having it. There is one small flaw, but i can live with it.

When I heard of Pavarotti's death I was filled with a sense of loss like nothing I have felt in a very long time. I decided to buy Romantica: The Very Best of Luciano Pavarotti so I could sit and listen and remember the voice that will never be again. The CD is wonderful, selection of music excellent and Pavarotti, as always, was perfection.

People are probably going to kill me for this, but he's just not as fun to listen to without the other three tenors. Before you hunt me down, however, know that he is the best of the three, just better together.
