Polarized glass?
This is a nice screen. The color depth and contrast is great. The digitizer is super responsive and the touch control works flawlessly. Installation was easy. One interesting thing is that the glass seems to be polarized. It’s really hard to read the screen in portrait orientation when wearing polarized sunglasses, but everything lines up in landscape and the screen is easy to read. Kind of annoying because I always wear polarized sunglasses, but doesn’t detract from the quality of the screen.

This was not easy, but it worked!
Ok, this product is not for faint-hearted for sure. The instructions supplied with it are useless: the pics are too tiny to follow. So, I used one of the youtube videos. My phone was A1549, by the way. The chances that something breaks during the replacement procedure are ~20%, I think. In my case, it was a small piece that looked like a condenser and belonged to the camera/mic/light sensor assembly (see the pic). It was glued very tightly and the ribbon connector holding to it just ripped off, when I tried to pull hard enough. Miraculously, everything seems to work without the piece. The hardest part was reconnecting the 4 ribbon connectors between the screen and the main board in the right order. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out which one goes where, because it was not obvious. Make sure that you memorize their relative layout while disconnecting. Overall, it took me about an hour, I guess. The screws are tiny, and twice I had to look for one of them on the floor, but I did succeed! The screen looks and feels just like the original, so I'm quite happy with the result.

Incomplete
There are three types of screws that are in an iPhone 8. This kit provides 2 of those, but 4 total. Doesn’t advise you that you should heat your iPhone to melt the glue keeping your screen in. There is no piece thin enough to cleanly pop the screen out without putting an unfavorable amount of pressure on the phone frame. I stripped two of the screws in my phone on the battery covering. Had to take to a store in hopes they could fix it. Thankfully one man was willing to help and after a couple hours of searching for somebody, he only charged me $10. Could’ve easily ended up spending $100 for a new LCD and installation just because the screwdrivers were 1. Poor quality and 2. 2/3 types were included.

Tahini for Desserts!
I am newly obsessed with using tahini in desserts. Pepperwood's tahini is now my only tahini. It's so rich and sublime. Has a slightly viscous consistency, easy to be thinned down for salad dressing or mixed into thicker concoctions. Next recipe on deck: Homemade Tahini Oreos! "The good stuff is life-changing, but not always easy to find in the states." – So true, so true! Purchased both the stone-ground whole and regular, love them both! BTW, don't miss the halvah. I found it to be moist and luscious with that mysterious flaky/pastry texture. So far beyond the general grocery store product. If you've never had halvah, let this one be your first.

Fast charging on the go!
First off, this battery is huge! From full charge, and charging my iPhone 6 Plus, the battery still is full enough to have all 4 capacity indicators lit up. The cable that came with the battery pack is anker's standard lightning cable which is fairly thin. The model i received had a light on it, below/above the battery pack's charging port. I've only used the light once, but its pretty bright for being a small size.I would recommend this battery pack for anyone who needs really fast charging on the go!One thing I would change would be the "case" this comes with. It's like all the other Anker "cases" I've gotten with my other products, a mesh with a drawstring tie on tit. I feel like Anker could include a higher quality case for such an amazing product! I still would recommend this to anyone!

Great for Hummus!
I adore hummus and I was interested in making my own instead of buying the packaged store option. This is a delicious, organic ingredient for hummus and I was able to quickly make my own batch in a food processor. With the hummus going so well, I plan to try making a veggie dip next. I'm happy I found an organic and delicious product that fits a healthier diet.

Next time I'll leave it to the pros...
The screen itself is quality, and looks just like the original. The directions that came with the screen were a bit hard to follow and weren't very detailed, I ended up following along to a video on youtube. After I installed the screen I noticed that the upper left corner is significantly darker than the rest of the display, also, my home button/touch ID no longer work at all...I'll admit that this was my first time replacing a screen myself. Given the results, and factoring in the time it took me, about an hour and a half, I'll probably be bringing any future phones to a repair shop.
