Quality and grade of materials and workmanship are good, and they are very comfortable for long term wear.Six straps means it will hold your stockings securely without the back-seam running all over. The two clasps on each strap provide extra security in the event one clasp lets go. If it does, you'll feel it, but you don't have to jump up and go running to the ladies room immediately to fix it. You've got 5 other clasps on that leg dutifully doing their job and keeping your hosiery from sagging. Relax. Take care of it when you can. It's extra peace of mind well worth the price.Tiny little four-strap garterbelts with those skinny little straps and the cheap plastic clasps are meant for the bedroom or the photo studio. Period. They are junk. They will not support your stockings well enough for all day wear and if you are wearing stockings with back-seams, forget it. The seams will shift all over ever time you sit down or stand up. And those little skinny waistbands will dig into your hips within minutes and you will be hating life.If you are going to wear stockings, especially real, Fully-Fashioned stockings, (and every woman should,) get a good, comfortable garter belt like this one. Try it on. Wear it around the house for a couple of hours. If it gets uncomfortable, it's either too small, or it's not adjusted right. Find one you can wear for hours and you will discover that stockings are way more comfortable than panty hose. And far nicer looking as well.

Even though it comes from China, the sizing is American. By your usual size. This is the best garter belt for the money, and I already own more expensive designer ones, but this is a real value even with the shipping cost. I paid $10 with shipping, and it's his nicest ones that I've paid $50 for.
