This set is great for beginners and if you are looking for a gift. Had a little problem with one of the pens, it had rust inside, so nib didn't come off. After cleaning it is good as new

I bought this for myself as a beginner calligraphy pen set. The packaging was so beautiful, as you can see in the image, it's very classy looking. This is a really good kit for me because it comes with simple explanations of the different alphabet writing styles that I can copy and practice with. There's a lot of information that comes with the set such as how to position your paper and techniques on how to hold the pen. There are explanations of the types of nibs and care of the set. It came just in time for me to create a personalized birthday card that I'll need in a few days.

Great set for future illustrator
This is a great calligraphy set for people who work with type or design related to type. I am a illustrator by trade so I work with a lot of different type of fonts. This said lets me explore a different ways of using type in an old fashion way .All the materials feel very high-quality this site comes with different types of pen tips and three different type types of colors. Also a great gift for people who are creative.

This is a great set for beginners and advanced. Lots of nib choices and the colors that come with it are really nice. Calligraphy takes practice so dont judge products to quickly if you are new to the art. The set is very well packaged and I would have no reservations about giving it as a gift.
