I bought this because my son has a journal and lost his lock for it. These are just little locks and keys that will fit on any kids journal or diary. They are not meant to be locks that are super sturdy or complicated to get into, so don't expect a very fancy, ultra secure lock and key set. If you are looking for a simple lock and key, these are them. Very nice very and decorative locks and keys that could be for boys or girls.

I bought these to go with a little treasure chest that my 5-year-old could lock and unlock with these. He has been obsessed with keys and locks lately, so I thought of the idea of buying these and a chest separately. They are very small and they work perfectly for what I needed them for. He is still using them today and we have had them since last year.

I make a lot of DIY escape rooms, and locking a journal would be a great layer. I loved the variety of shapes. However, these locks simply don't work well. The mechanisms are so finicky that I can't depend on them opening, especially in the excitement of the room. They are tiny, that's okay, and I didn't need true security, but I need them to unlock every time, and they just don't.

I needed a small lock for my teenage son’s new neck/belt chain, but wasn’t sure which he’d prefer. This came with lots of choices for cheap. I wasn’t expecting high quality, but these are much sturdier than expected. They’re a cute variety and the lock mechanisms work well.

Work well for keeping my large material pet carrier secured so my kitten can't open it to get out.

Needed replacement diary lock keys for my daughter who lost hers. This set is perfect to keep around for any lost diary/keys and avoid the angst. My daughter loves them! They are quality diary locks, just like the ones that come with the diary initially. Nice assortment.

These little locks/keys were perfect for my daughters bday decorations. I would not expect these to hold up to keep someone out of something. Cute and stylish.

These are tiny, cheap little locks suitable for a child's diary and that's about it. Some of them are tricky to get open, and 4 of them have the exact same shaped keys to open them.

These are difficult to open due to cheap construction. Could easily be broken. Would be fine for novelty situations, but not as luggage locks or situations where you would need to frequently open and close them.

Unfortunately the locks inside aren't aligned and the keys barely fit inside some of them because of this, makes it impossible for a child to use them.
