Q: Are these knives a light silver color or a dark metallic silver color? It is hard to tell from the picture. I'm needing a dark silver color.

I'd say they are closer to dark than light, well made, durable, and the color is muted, not shiney like true silverware would be. They are sturdy enough to be washed and reused but inexpensive enough to throw in the trash if you don't want to bother.

This looks like a knife. The description must be wrong. This brand is great though.

These knives are heavy duty enough to cut meat. i would not use on this pan. I think they mean like plastic smooth edge utensils.
