It's nice and compact. It took a while to get the mount to stick to the window. I really wanted a dash mount but this does not fit the bill. It still falls off from time to time. The attachment on the camera that attaches to the mount is the real problem. It will fall off if the mount is touched even a small amount. Seems to do fine when traveling only fell off once in 4 months on the road. I have been on some really bad BLM roads and it still is attached. The directions are weak not real explanatory for a beginner. If I shut off the camera while the rv is not being used it will not keep functioning for long after I turn it back on. Then it Keeps cutting off when driving. Still trying to figure it out as directions are useless.

I liked everything but I think mine isn’t new or defective because I charged it a whole day and the battery can barely hold for ten mins and I don’t like the idea of keeping it charged using my car battery! I expect the battery life last 3-5 hrs after a full charged but nope!

The DveeTech Dash Camera Full HD 1080P Car DVR is really an amazing camera. First off all, it's smaller than other dashcam's so it can easily hide behind the rear view mirror so it doe's not take up any windshield real estate, or if you have tint or those black dots on the glass around the mirror you can place it there so it sees just under that. I have owned several car cams and this is the lightest one, and it works very well in my car now.I love that it allows you to put a 64Gb TF card so all the 1920X1080 you want, acually 64Gb is enough for me. The video recorder is fantastic, during the driving at 75 MPH, the video has no blurring or distortion. And the view angle is 170 degree, is very great.I use the camera record my trip , to see where you've been, and I can copy the video to the pc and playback the video about the scenery on the road, certainly, you can paly it back on the camera at any time. What's more,the camera has the sensitive G-sensor,so if the car had a crash or a strong shake, it would have a special record for me to check.The menu on this camera is easy to understand once you get used to it.It also has the ability to record your voice, and it is very clearly when you arechatting with friends in the car. Of course, you can cancel the recording if you don't need it. By the way, I really love the function, it will record the funny words and the laughter of my family on the trip, I think it is worth remembering.I will purchase this again and recommend to family and friends, well worth it and it's cheaper than other ones. Great product!

Current problems are:-Camera will sometimes not loop when SD card is full. Must format sd card- will not detect sd card when turned on. Have to take out and reinsert card.- sometimes camera flickers constantly when started up. Will not operate. Have to unplug and restart.- camera does not tightly secure and sometimes falls off.- sometimes camera will not begin recording even if none of the above happens. Have to manually press recordDespite all this, camera still functions.Would have returned this camera but problems began to persist after return period.

First and foremost, I just want to point out to all buyers that - YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A MICRO SD CARD separately. I did - got a 32 gig one from amazon for less than $10; and the rest was smooth sailing.Been using it for couple of days in the car now and checked out the videos tonight on my computer. The video quality is full HD - in most cases the car license plates of other cars will be visible only if they’re stopped in front of you with no glare. You’ll be able to see a lot of other details just fine. Given the price of the item, that’s better than expected. One thing I was not expecting is that the picture shows pretty clearly at night.It comes with motion detection for when your car is parked and you’re worried about people hitting your car while you’re away. In case the motion sensing doesn’t catch it, it also has Sudden acceleration capture triggers.The cam itself is fairly small so it doesn’t obstruct my driving view.The instructions are pretty clear and the device is easy to use.

Camera works great but the plastic warped really easy with the Sun even though I didn't and even on full time, the mount slide got really loose within a week or so of using it. If they would change mounting system I would buy again.

Just received, no time to know how well it works.
