I don't use this item as a necklace. I use it as a wrist strap for a walking stick/ cane. It works great.If I wore necklaces this would make a nice one.

Disintegrates in time.
I was pleased at first with this item. However, it is not at all durable. The "leather" disintegrates after wearing for a while. When it gets to this point, you can pull the cord (not the clasp) apart with very little force. Luckily, I caught this in time to keep from losing my valuable religious medal.

Looks nice for the price
Simple but nice looking. Exactly what I was looking for. I wear it a lot and have gotten compliments on it. I love the magnet clasp. It makes it super easy to put on and take off.
