Known for their intense, ritualistic live shows, Goat’s hypnotic, 2012 debut, World Music, received widespread acclaim and placed in many of that year’s top-ten lists. Preceded by the single "Hide from the Sun", Commune is Goat's first album for Sub Pop Records.

Great Band, Great Act and Album.... Poor CD Engineering/Recording.
I really enjoy this group from Gothenburg live or on video.Ordered the CD to see if any of the audio was clearer.There is a "free" recording of their act from Belgique which isso much better than any CD.I am now more impressed with the live recordings.The CD is one of the poorer engineering jobs I have heard.Sound is extremely "tinny" through my ADCOM GFA 1000 watt systemthrough Klipsch Towers.The CD comes across like near Bootleg.I will order the vinyl to see if there is a difference, any more warmth.

Perhaps Goat's most essential song is "When We Talk to God," the opening track of Commune. Its focused, insistent, organically-droning sound and numinous vocals set the tone for this consistent and compulsively re-listenable album.

Get yer Goat
Goat is insane. You love them or you don't get it. Saw them live. Cross between a rock show, a new age ball and a cult. CD was a gift, cannot attest to the quality of the recording. Price was good and Amazon flung it at me very fast.
