The reality is that these shoes offer a modest amount of arch support, which I would not describe as either "good" or "not good," but "it's okay but could be better." If the arch support were a bit better, I'd have given it five stars. That is the main weakness of these shoes from my perspective. Given that they offered a range of choices for all the questions except the one about arch support, I assume they know that the arch support is really not what most people would describe as "good," but they don't want to hear it. Instead, they offer only yes or no as choices, in order to "push" you into telling them what they want to hear (yes), so they can use it as an excuse to avoid spending any money on product improvement.

This is my 3rd pair of Grasshoppers and they are my new favorite brand of shoe. I put these on new and wore them all day long. They are now my go-to shoes. They are SOOO comfortable and they're attractive, my foot doesn't turn in them, plenty of room for my chubby toes... Nice, cushy insole... perfect. The color looks a little odd and it's hard to describe. Kind of a cross between brown and gray. They look great with blue jeans. If the zipper doesn't go all the way up, wear them a bit and try again. They'll stretch just a tad.Update: Re the color. Still hard to describe, but I LOVE it! I wore these shoes with olive green pants and they worked much better than a brown shoe. They are just a wonderful neutral.

I really like the style, nice looking shoe but too wide in the heel and too long so had to return them. I reordered the size 8 wide hoping that would be better but it was too short and too narrow (it was more like a 7 1/2 regular width) whereas the 8.5 was more like a 9 or 9.5 extra wide! Evidently the sizing isn't consistent.

I have to buy a size 5 for they don't make 4's. When I buy the leather ones they fit fine. I expected these to be a little loose since they were a canvas type material. They did. So I just wear thicker socks and put a thin insole in them. I like them, but think I will stick to the leather zip shoes which I buy consistently. Really like these zip shoes for they are so comfortable and so easy to put on. They also look nice.

I have very bad knees and need comfortable shoes to wear all day just to get around. I used to wear the same style in Keds, which were discontinued, much to my disappointment. Found these and tried them, and I'm very happy with them. They're comfy and supportive all day and let me walk without killing my knees. I just wish they made them in leather, as these get dirty much faster. I've only worn them a few times, and I need to clean them.

These shoes are a beautiful neutral color (described as walnut), somewhere between a gray and green. The foot-bed is very comfortable and cushioned. The width and length are a perfect fit, so the sizing seems spot on. And the look is pure modern. I love them.

I have been very pleased with my grasshopper shoes, especially their front zipper shoes since tying shoes is much more difficult as I age. I love them and hope they continue front zipper style.

Shoes looked great but my heels kept lifting out of the shoe.

I like these shoes. They are comfortable and I can wear them for quite a while. The heel has good cushion. My only disappointment is the color.

Very comfy. Look good, too. Wish they had better arch support, but few shoes do, especially in this very reasonable price range.

like the style a little tight but once I wear them more I think they will get stretched out more

As I have found with other Grasshoppers, the fabric loses its shape after wearing for only a day or so, and the fit gets sloppy especially around the top at the instep and ankle.

they are a little narrow but feel they will stretch as I wear them......haven't had a chance to really break them in as yet.....but satisfied with produch on a whole.
