POCT Hemoglobin Meter-Hemoglobin Analyzer-Hemoglobin Test Machine with Test Strips (Hemoglobin Meter with 50strips of Test Strip)

This product seems to work well. I have Hemolytic Anemia and I had to go have my hemoglobin checked all of the time. So to have the ability to check at home was important. I have tested the meter to my local lab when I have had labs completed two times. The meter matched the lab results both times. I recommend this product. It ships from out of the country but is a very good product. Especially for someone with a chronic illness who needs close monitoring.

Completely inaccurate! This meter told us that my dad (who has thalassemia, a severe form of anemia) that my dad’s hemoglobin was 4.2. Understandably panicked we rushed to his hemotologist to find out his hemoglobin was actually 7.4 (which is good for him). Just tried to give it another chance, told use his hemoglobin was 12.4 (it has never been that high in his life) and 1 minute later it said it was 4.6. Was excited for this purchase but am now going to have to return this meter.

Works great for the first few tests done at home. Very close match to myself with no anemia and my wife with severe anemia- both quite accurate.Put in batteries.Turn it on, put in the code chip in the side wall that’s included with the test strips.Then put in test strip into the reading area.Then prick finger (includes lancets but not a new lancet holder/spring device)Apply blood to the area on the test strip while it’s inserted in the reading area.About 5 seconds later—- shows result.The 50 strips come in two bottles of 25. They state they expire 3 months after each bottle is opened.

Works perfectly.

This tester does not good if I cannot purchase test strips for it, no one seems to know where to purchase replacement strips.

This purchase was a complete disappointment.

Accurate testing as of about 50 tests. Results are always within acceptable limits when compared to blood drawn testing.

Easy to use. Very little blood required.
