This thing is very cool trim your videos to about 12 seconds there is an application within the files there's a setup wizard this is how you create the bin files load it onto your computer.This is a wonderful static display.I'll be using this at our race car garage.The video doesn't know Justice because the frame rate isn't high on my camera but the video is seamless in person.

Great item but couldn’t turn it off because battery was missing from remote. Had to unplug it and it smacked me in the arm. Dont get near the blades they hurt

Product is cool and looks great. Everything else is terrible. App for phone never worked. Loaded numerous times on different phones, no good. The software link sent to a site that doesn't exist. Directions are probably the worst I've seen. If your going to sell to the US market, make sure your directions, software, and app works! It's too bad as the graphics are nice. Save your time, and do not purchase

I thought it was a home projector before I received it.Actually, it's a 3D hologram advertising machine. Plug in,It looks very cool and exciting. It may be a little confusing at the begining of using,but in general item works great.My son really like the Mario 3d video.I have an good idea for installation,posted a black wall sticker behind the hologram fan and hidden the power chord,it looks more clear and bright without any distractions.

The original review is below the updated comments.Our problem was that we could not get the base unit to function with the remote control at all. After some back-and-forth email messages with GIWOX Customer Service, they sent me a new remote control. Very happy to report that the new remote control works as it should! No problems at all now with the initial functionality of the unit. It is bright and makes a very cool effect.I am giving this 4 stars and not 5 due to the fact that the initial remote control was defective and the included instructions for the projector need a lot of work. I will note that the customer service has been very good at resolving my issue.******************************ORIGINAL REVIEW ******************************I purchased this as a gift for my husband. We were so excited to set it up!Then we started reading the "manual". This is not an operating manual at all, but rather instructions about how to download apps to control the projector. Okay, fine, but I want to know what I need to do to get it up and running. This info is not in the instructions.So we did the first logical thing: we plugged it in. The fan began flashing blue LED light sequences. Ooh! Good sign here! Then we checked that the micro-SD card was properly inserted, popped the batteries in the remote, and pressed the Power On button. Logical, right? Nothing happened.We tested the batteries in the remote. Batteries fresh, correctly inserted. We verified there was all necessary data on the micro-SD card. We unplugged and plugged the unit back in and tried again. Still nothing.We then did the next logical thing... altering the direction of the remote control to see if it was a sensor issue. From all angles we tried to power on the unit, and NOTHING.I searched and searched all over the interwebs for troubleshooting help, and NOTHING. I have dropped more than three hundred bucks on a gift for a plastic bar with flashing blue LEDs. Ooh. Ahh. This is complete BS.I am more than annoyed that what was supposed to be a super cool surprise gift for my husband has turned into a massive disappointment. I've contacted GIWOX for help and will update my review if/when resolution is obtained. Based on the unit I've received, I cannot recommend purchasing this item.

I saw a holographic fan like this at a restaurant and then spent about 30 minutes geeking out with the owner who loved them so much he bought 6 for his restaurant. His were much pricier and the image quality is arguably better, BUT this GIWOX one is about half the cost and the image quality is still amazing. I would definitely pick this over the pricier ones -- esp. for personal use. The image is very clear even in bright daylight.I found the software to convert videos easy to use. As others have mentioned, you want to ensure you have a black background in your videos. If creating home videos to use with this, I'd suggest getting a cheap green screen and software to edit out the background.I did have some questions and the company answered them well and quickly. The machine is well built and is now my new favorite toy.

The hardware is great. Functions the way it should. Very good brightness and resolution. Top marks for a unit with this number of led's Did try a unit from a different seller previously and determined it was probably better to spend a bit more for a better one. Am using this as one element of a 'theme' when decorating home, car or golf cart. Desire is to have theme related graphics and video sync'd up with music and lighting effects.The struggle is with the software. Takes effort to get even the basics working and so far it's only been a few photos transferred to an sd card. One time was able to do a direct transfer, but it was mostly luck. Have looked for other software, No luck so far. Very disappointed that even after multiple emails, no access has been provided to the Video Library! Bottom line, really good hardware if you have a way to get content to it.
