This was purchased to replace a broken lcdIt arrived next day and was $21 usdIncluded were all of the tools needed to swap out the screens.The total repair kit was well thought out and included everything even the screen adhesive.Only difference I found was that yes the screen brightness was slightly lower nits than the original but I will not hold that against the seller as the screen worked and came with everything needed at a price much lower than others.My conclusion is that this is a great product if you have a slight idea of what your doing and can google how to do it without destroying your device you should be fine.

This has great color and seems to function well with the touch sensitivity. I didn't realize at first that it did not include the camera and speaker and proximity sensor so I had to move that from my old screen. I wasn't sure if I was up for the extra challenge but it worked well and is back together including the home button and functions like it did before my screen was damaged previously. Great product and high quality tools and instructions.

TL;DR: I followed the instructions exactly, now my phone can't connect to WiFi or Cellular and power cycles making it useless.I purchased this screen replacement kit for my iPhone 8. The original screen had chipped in the corner and had scratches on it from every day use and I wanted to refresh it. The kit came with a supply of effective, low quality tools, the replacement screen, a screen protector, a new water resistant sticker (which didn't stick), and really poorly written instructions for installation.I set into replacing my screen and got help from a very well reviewed and watched instructional video on YouTube. I was very careful not to damage any of the "paper delicate" ribbons cables. The tools supplied with the replacement screen were effective in disassembling the device. I followed all the directions to a "T". When I finally completed the change in screens I powered on the device to ensure the screen wasn't defective. It didn't have any lines, discoloration, or any other visible defects.However, once the iPhone booted two device-life ending issues ensued that had not existed before. First, the phone was no longer able to connect to WiFi or Cellular signals. The control center icons for these services, which had been fully functional an hour before, are now grayed out. The device boots and searches for signals unsuccessfully.Second, the phone is power-cycling where it is able to boot into the iOS, where it allows me to navigate through my home screens and access phone settings, but after about 60 seconds or so the device restarts without warning. This has made it incredibly hard to troubleshoot.Additionally, while charging and power-cycling the device gets very, very hot.I reached out to the supplied email for help and have not heard back. I've watched about a hundred different YouTubes on fixing these issues, but none of the solutions have worked. I've read threads on iFixit and other reputable device repair forums and no solutions have worked.All-in-all if you don't want to pay $25 to potentially ruin a $500+ phone (replacement value), DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!

This screen replacement works well. The kit is well thought out and includes all tools needed as well as instructions. The screen itself seems to be a lower quality than the original screen. I had to turn the brightness up significantly to meet earlier levels and it feels "laggy" when the screen is active. The touchscreen is responsive to touch and appears the same.I did have an issue getting the screen to come back on after replacement. I was concerned that I'd damaged the phone until I did a hard reset and the screen came back to life. Apparently a hard reset needed to be done before the phone would turn the screen on. The sequence for that was volume up/volume down/hold power button.

At first I was worried because when I looked at the reviews 48% were bad reviews and my order was already on its way but I repair screens as a side job and this is definitely one of the highest quality screen replacements I’ve received. I usually don’t leave 5 stars on reviews but since the screen was high quality and it included a screen protector and included the water resistant seal I had to leave 5 stars!

This has all the tools and good quality screen too.You wont regret .. It took me little bit more than 1 hour to replace the screen.Working flawlessly..

Screen turned right on and connected beautifully. Very well-packaged DIY kit as well with the adhesive included which was a huge help!The screen itself has a weird color compared to the original Apple screen. It also seems a bit slower to the touch. Perhaps that will improve with use, or I’ll just get used to it.Either way for the price, I have a functional phone and that’s fine by me. Just wish it worked more similar to the stock Apple screen.

The product works great, has all necessary tools and comes with instructions. I would recommend looking up additional instructions to make the steps more clear. suction cup didn't work for me at all and neither did tape; so I carefully used a knife to pry up screen.
