If you have small projects this works great. Perfect size to be portable and can’t beat the price. Very easy to use

AtomStack is a brand name I trust as I have had several of their lasers over the past few years. Good solid reliable equipment from a reputable manufacturer. I was not disappointed with the P1. Works great doing exactly what I bought it for ... Engraving pens. Had to make Parts and Jigs but as a maker that was no problem.

The plastic wrap for the product was missing and the user manual was also missing!

I’ve always wanted a laser engraver but was worried if it would be difficult to use/ learn. I’m happy to say that this was pretty easy to use and get the hang of. This is great for beginners who are looking to do small designs. The manual provided could use some work but luckily, the internet exists so I was able to figure out the rest with videos. This engraver does need to be set up somewhere with good ventilation. It’s compacted enough to fit on a small table I have in the garage.I can’t really speak on the speed of this machine compared to others, but I feel like it was fast enough and got the job done within a reasonable amount of time. I did have trouble with centering my images so that it would engraver exactly where I needed. The app offers plenty of designs, which are the ones I used to practice with. I haven’t yet tried doing one of my own designs.Overall, while there are things that need to be worked on to improve user experience, I believe it’s a great option for true beginners looking to do small designs. The price does match the quality of the machine and its limitations.

Easy to set up but when you purchase buy the one that comes with both the 5w and 1.5w heads. I have made several things with it using the included software

I've played around with 3d printers before and was a little reluctant to try a laser engraver, but this is so much easier to get started and there's no fussing with filament. It came with a small piece of MDF to try out with so I popped that in the machine and used one of the designs included in the app. A few clicks and I was engraving and the machine did the rest.It's worth noting that it works wirelessly through the phone app and that was the easiest way to get started.Keep in mind that this laser will burn designs into material, so it is wise to vent it to the outside or use in a well-ventilated area as you will smell burning while it's working. Engraving area is about 4 inches by 4 inches. This will keep your projects confined to smaller parts, but there is still a lot it can do.This really is a cool and inexpensive way to get started with laser engraving. It won't do everything and it certainly isn't meant for professional use, but it is an awesome hobbyist tool at a pretty good price point.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this laser engraver/cutter for the small footprint. It looks super cute and fits on a bookshelf in my living room. It is fully enclosed, so I can use it anywhere, including right where it sits. This is a very functional laser engraver, but it is fairly limited in size of projects you can do. I use it to engrave personalized keychains and coasters, and it works perfectly. I highly recommend this small laser engraver/cutter to others, you can't beat the small footprint and convenience of an all in one.

The media could not be loaded. I loved this machine. After two wood practice test, the laser didnt work anymore. However the 1.2 work really well. I had to return it since one of the laser is just not functioning anymore. You can see how nothing is coming out of the laser box. The one in the wood is one of the practices
