The light is going to be used for my lash and brow work. I like how light weight and easy it was to set up, but the light being attached to the base is not how I would have imagined to set it up. It doesn’t have the bolt going through the pole so it makes me curious how it will be in regards to steady over my clients heads. Other than that I like it so far.

I think this LED light wand is pretty good. You can control the amount of light you want it to kick out, from almost nothing, to borderline blinding. Standard issue style adjustable stand works great for when you want to free your hands up. He LED part is surprisingly sturdy, too (hit myself over the head with it...twice, actually [the corner...ouch], with no signs of damage).I wish the cord was a tad longer, but that's a nitpick. If there are any complaints about it, I wish there was more handle/support percentage. When hand holding it, my first inclination is to momentarily treat it like a light saber. This is where it feels a bit flimsy. Tightening down the adjustment grip doesn't really do much. Granted. You shouldn't treat like a light saber...but, eventually someone will treat it like a light saber (or their kid(s) will).The device is pretty awesome as is, but I'd trade maybe a foot of LED space for a more sturdier feeling support in the grip area.Everyone I showed it to likes it. I think it'll sell. It's just that one thing about the extended support that I think it should have.

I was looking for a long, slim bright light to use for drywall work in which I need a light cast perpendicular to the surface to allow all defects to show up. This light fits that criteria nicely, and much cheaper than the lights make specifically for this purpose.Be aware that this light is not "heavy duty" and I imagine if you were to drop it from any notable height it would crack the light or plastic handle. However, with care it should not pose any issue for normal use.The tripod is also light duty and works fine at most positions, but when it is extended to its maximum height it becomes unstable. Note that the light attaches to the tripod with a bolt on the light handle that clamps onto a shaft on the tripod, NOT with a standard 1/4-20 female thread on the light handle. Therefore you cannot use another tripod for this without some adapter piece in between.

Second set ordered. Although I love these lights, I REALLY wish they were larger and brighter, I hope that the company can one day create a wider set with more lights. The poles can be a little weak if stretching to the max length/height for the stands. Use something to brace it or fishing wire to keep it from falling over if you need to raise them about 6 feet.

They do get a little hot at max level, but they are also very bright, especially in pairs. I do appreciate the brightness dial so I can fine tune the lighting. I wish the diffuser was a little more, umm, "diffusy", but it works.

I bought two of these for my art studio. I wanted better light for working on my artwork, they give excellent light, and are adjustable depending on the time of day. the only thing that could be better is the way the lights attach to the tripods. the connection does not fit well, and takes quite a bit of adjustment for them to feel somewhat secure. Do like them!

I wish it twisted at its connection to a base. It would make it easier to direct the light. light does bleed from the sides, FYI. this is a terric light and seems well made and offers a lot of light at its lowest setting and an immense amount at its highest. I use it at its lowest setting... 4 stars only because of the light bleed, and no swivel at base connect. other side would buy again and again... and I have.

I bought these lights last year and have been very please with them. Recently, one of them stopped working. I reached out to amazon to see if I had any recourse. Within 24 hours I got a response from the seller. They offered to send me a replacement for free! Of course I was shocked and incredibly happy. It arrived in about two weeks!
