While the color and quality are nice and the shipping time had a very quick turnaround, I was a little disappointed in the overall size. The case was more compact than I expected, especially the top section. When I received it in the mail as a flat package, I realized right away it wasn't going to be as sturdy as I thought either. Based on the picture, I was expecting the case to have firmer sides. But the bottom section is soft and floppy and does not stand up well on its own and once the top has brushes inserted, it became top heavy. Bottles in the bottom will not stay upright with the lid down. I also found that most of my brushes with thicker handles did not fit in the top slots for the brushes. While it might be okay for travel with a light load of makeup, it's a bit clumsy for daily use on a countertop.

 It was frustrating looking for a good makeup bag due to the lack of videos and photos by customers, thankfully this one had some. Anyway, I thought I would still make one for people like me who appreciate them. The quality is great and my makeup fits. I could add more stuff in it and the chains would still close I guess.

I ordered this and another bag to house brushes, cosmetics, and toiletries. It arrived exactly as described, with a nice top zippered packet to store brushes individually. It's deeper than I anticipated. There's plenty of room to store items--great. I'd give it between 3 and 4 stars, but it's not for me. I returned it bc it's not that sturdy. The sides are collapsible so, if nothing is inside it, it lies almost flat. That might be a selling point to some, but I wanted a bag that had more sturdy construction--that would hold its shape even if empty. I also felt that because the large zippered bottom section is so deep and there are no compartments, items would shift easily. I wanted a bag that had more structure and compartments in the storage area.

This is a very high quality bag. The exterior is subdued, but sturdy. The handle is leather. There is a very nice pamphlet inside that tells you how to care for the bag. I have a small makeup bag that has an area in the lid for brushes, but this is MUCH nicer. The item looks exactly as shown in the description photo. The zippers are nice with sturdy sewing and the zipper pulls are gold-tone, but not tacky. There is a durable piping on the bottom and near the zippers for protection from wear and tear. I could not be more pleased and it is a very good value for the price. I may order the smaller makeup case now because I"m so pleased and the price is so reasonable. I don't even need it, but hate to pass it up! 10 stars!!

Although I love the color, this bag is not as big as I expected. Also I thought it was a sturdy construction but when I received it, it came in a flat large bubble envelope. It’s like a vinyl, nylon mix and although it will be easy to clean, for the price, I thought it would be a nicer material. Just a little disappointed in purchase!

This is awesome! It carries a lot but it also compact in size. I love how it organizes all my brushes. Only thing I would chance it to add an elastic strap on the side of the top flap so your brushes don't fall to the side. Otherwise - perfection! Also, it's simple but beautiful.

I bought this for a work trip.. easier to keep my bathroom and makeup supplies in one bag rather than 2 or 3 separate ones. I thought this was going to be a run-of-the-mill makeup bag, but I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I opened it. It feels of very good quality. I got the black/burgundy color, and the inside is a very deep, rich red. The material is thick and well constructed. Very spacious inside, and the hardware is nice and heavy. The zipper pulls come with protective plastic on them, and it comes with a dust bag for storage when not in use. VERY happy with this purchase.

This is a nice make up case...BUT, the sides in the bottom part have NO support (like cardboard or whatever) it came to me smashed and flat. Does not look like the model picture which leads you to believe there is some kind of support. It's obvious the maker depends on whatever you put in it to support it. Anyway that is why I gave it 3 stars. The case itself is very well made!!!
