25 Hood Prop Rod Clips Compatible with Ford 386299-S

i'm so happy about this ! i bought a used 2002 Ford Escape with a broken hood prop clip. every time i opened the hood i had to "fish" the prop from the engine bay. 18 months later, i now have a new clip to secure the rod !i decided to buy this pack of 25 instead of the mixed package from AutoZone, etc. their package costs about the same, has a dozen clips in it, but only one for your car – which means that you have to throw the others away ; such a waste. now i can install a fresh clip for the next 25 years ! :)

This doesn't actually fit the location where the original hood clip is located (Ford Escape 2004 model). The clip is too small for the hole. However there is a smaller hole a few inches to the left of the original hole and I was able to snap this clip in there.

Fit's the hood prop on my Mazda Tribute perfectly. Great product so I wish they sold it in smaller quantities because the one I used is still holding up fine.

The clip is used to hold the hood rod in place on my 2006 Ford ranger and works very well.
