OK....so i never thought I'd be one of those people that would be writing a review on a defrost tray! But hey...it's lockdown in the UK and I've literally nothing to do right now! So here we go!!!Firstly, I like how easy it is to clean the tray. It's almost too easy! The tools which come with the tray are pretty rubbish to be honest with you. The tongs and little silicone round thingy. Useless. Lost them already. I suspect the wife has binned them. But it's not a biggie. I'm sure you have tongs already.The fly screen net thing is useful, although I would have liked to have seen it go all the way down to the bottom. Right now, the little plastic corner ends mean the net doesn't quite fit to the bottom. So in theory an enterprising fly in the summer could sneak under.The tray feels cold to the touch which is a good thing. Means it's sucking the heat from my hand. The meat definitely tastes better than when I defrost in the microwave. The drip tray is great since I can let the water flow into the tray rather than just sit on the bottom like if i leave the pack of meat in its packaging.Overall I'm very impressed with it and the wife is too. Which is high praise!I wish it either didn't come with cheap tools or they were better quality. Save the environment or give me something I can really use. Either is fine. But cheap tools is just a waste. But at this price, I'm not going to mark the review down for that.The tray itself is great.

I was a bit sceptical, but I thought I would try. Well, it really works! Frozen rice, frozen meat, frozen prawns, you name it. Thay all get defrosted much much faster! This kit comes with a plastic tray and silicon foot. It is very easy to wash. I can only highly recommend it!

Nice look, fits in fine with the kitchen. Works reasonably well. Not as fast as expected but faster than ambient temp. Good value unless you want instant results.

These work as advertised thawing quicker than thawing conventionally. I like the drip tray as this keeps the area cleaner too. The bonus silicone sponge and fly cover are usefull bonuses that others did not include.

Having read a few reviews that began "Having read a few reviews that began..." I decided that diving in and trying one of these was a cheaper way to defrost things than diving in and buying a microwave.Yes, I am the person who doesn't have a microwave.And yes, I was sceptical. So I unpacked it and stuck a couple of (pretty thick) lamb chops on it.OMG what sorcery is this? OK, it's basically a slab of aluminium with a high thermal conductivity coefficient, but hey, where's the fun in that?So yes - if you don't have a microwave and you need to defrost stuff, this is the kiddy. So get one.And it uses remarkably little electricity.Or spend 10x as much and get a microwave, which you'll basically only use to defrost with anyway.

This product has truly revolutionised our kitchen routine. Its affordability is just the icing on the cake. There have been numerous occasions when I've forgotten to take something out of the freezer in advance, but this defrost and thaw tray has been a lifesaver. It's incredibly easy to clean and store, making it an essential item in our household. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Quick easy and brilliant with the drip tray underneath no mess .I only have half of sponge corner 🤨 but still can do the job. Haven't been able to send back as packaging in the bin 😕

This is amazing! The first picture is the meat out the freezer at 2.30pm. The second picture is the meat at 5, completely defrosted. I was out from 3-5 so the meat may have defrosted sooner. It’s so convenient, I often forget to take meat out after my night shift and then we all end up having takeaways or sandwiches for tea but not anymore (I’m sure the kids will be thrilled haha). There is a drip tray underneath however, I have defrosted a couple of things and no water has pooled inside this. It is so easy to clean, it’s brilliant. I don’t think I would be without it now and have convinced friends and family to buy one!
