Cuisinart 7" Stainless Steel Cleaver with Blade Guard

I am very impressed with this item . The handle is very sturdy and easy to keep control over the clever. The sheath is a very nice added touch.. I appreciate the safety feature it provides.

I have been wanting a cleaver like this, but did not want to shell out a ridiculous amount of money for one. This is exactly what I was looking for! Cuisinart is a tried and true brand and this fits the bill on the quality I was expecting.

Just got it today and used it tonight slice an onion for grilled onions with my burger patty . I got nice even onion slices with it. This knife is vary sharp. Looking at it because of high polish on the stainless steel it can be vary deceiving about the cutting edge. You can barely see the transition line of the cutting edge and the corners are sharp to so be careful handling it and use the shield that comes with it. When not in use to keep the shield from accidentally sliding off I use scotch tape to hold it in place.

I've never owned a meat cleaver before but this one is great. It's weighted well and super sharp. I'd recommend this product to anyone who needs one.

This cleaver is O.K. It is medium weight with good balance. All one piece construction.This is not a Bone cleaver. More like a Chinese style chopping cleaver. This is a vegetable and meat cleaver. I do recommend this cleaver. Use a shorter heavy duty thick spined cleaver to cut bones.

Cuts excellent
