light duty line
Works for light weight towels & clothing. I would not describe it as heavy duty. Three wet beach towels are max weight capacity. The overall quality is pretty cheap however if it Last two or three years I guess it’s worth the money

Strong but supplement
I hung the retractable clothes line in basement, approximately twenty seven feet.I wrapped the end 2x around the knob, but also spaced hooks along the floor joists to give the line extra strength. This way there is very little sag on the line under a heavy load.

Not as expected
Easy to install is about all I can say. Bought as a replacement to the retractable I had been using for years before it finally sprung it’s last spring. The cord, however, was less than half the diameter of its predecessor and let’s face it...size does matter! This new retractable, even when fully tensioned, sagged when even the smallest load was clipped into place. Thanks but no thanks...did more studies and found a bigger and better replacement than this toy.

its OK
this cloths line is OK...jut OK. The line itself is somewhat thin and has a lot of give/ flex. When you hang wet items on the line...the line stretches and drops quite a bit. The overall quality of the clothes line is decent...but nothing more. Securing the line to be taught is not easy and most people wont be strong enough to make the line tight.

Rewind is feeble
The rewind spring is feeble and you have to coax the line back into the reel to get it all back inside.

The retracting force is not very strong.
No issues, except with the retracting force.

Clothes line
Love this indoor clothes line! I put it in my garage to dry blankets and dog bedding. It seems sturdy and will hold a large blanket and a few reusable dog pads.
