No brainer for P20Pro users
I hate the concept of USB dongles but this is the best tenner I've ever spent on HiFi. P20Pro users rejoice. The Huawei's pitiful headphone sound quality is now but a memory. Music playback is now dynamic and satisfying on this phone. Hi Res 24/96 files play nicely and Spotify even sounds great. Drives AKG Y50 headphones to a decent comfortable volume. Buy two and treat a friend with a USB-C phone to a musical bargain.*Update... Though it works great for music playback, I can't figure out how to get this to work with calls via headphones on the P20Pro. Perhaps it's not possible due to Huawei's usb setup. My quest continues.

Bought to use on my LG V30
As the title states, my headphone socket has packed in working on my LG V30 smart phone, bought this and it works well the sound quality is good, you need good quality headphones but the reproduction through this adaptor is excellent on the V30 saved me an expensive repair.

Works for the Sony XZ2 compact as well
I can't comment on the durability as I have only just received this but it feels a lot more sturdier than the Sony one that came with me phone, the first of which stopped working within a month, the replacement they sent 6, sound quality is good, definitely recommended so far

Cheap and works for iPad Pro 2018
It works. Pretty well. Actually, I’ve discovered it’s possibly better than that. It seems to be able to drive headphones really well. I don’t know if this is because of an internal amp (surely not in this size) but all I can say is the sound quality is excellent and I can run at low volume on headphones that traditionally require a bit more power to drive them.

Not a good purchase
Product is not what is described and looks nothing like it - A cheap version arrived. Isn't even compatible with Pixel phone as described.Expect Amazon to make sure cowboys don't sell through third website

Doesn’t work
I plugged the device into my iPad Pro.....the volume stopped but didn’t come out of my headphonesThis is the first time since purchasing that I’ve had the opportunity to use it: I wish I’d tried it when it arrived so that I could return it

Not compatible with Pixel 2
Unfortunately it did not work with the Pixel 2. There was an error message on the phone when I plugged it in. However, when I reported this to the vendor they very promptly apologised and gave me a refund.
