Great Value for a 1080p Smart Projector with Vibrant Picture, Netflix/YouTube & Auto-Focus/Keystone
OVERALL:The Aurzen Eazze D1 Pro is a great value at $169, given the balance of 1080p full HD picture quality and brightness, smart features, autofocus and auto-keystone, and build quality. While not bright enough to use in sunlight, the Eazze D1 Pro is a significant upgrade from the previous version, particularly with nearly double the light output and more powerful speakers that produce surprisingly full and rich sound. Other than that, it works well and is a good choice for a projector in the $100-200 range. The auto-focus and keystone features made it quick and easy to set up, and the internet-connected streaming apps offer lots of options for things to watch.PICTURE QUALITY:I was immediately impressed by the picture quality of the menus when the projector first started up, and that continued to be the case when testing 1080p content in Netflix, YouTube, and USB media. The colors were vibrant and the dynamic contrast provided a sharp image. Dark scenes still had detail, and brighter videos and cartoons were crisp. Video settings can be adjusted for extra brightness and contrast for sports or video games, or a more natural tone for movies. This projector is not suited for daytime use in bright sunlight or outside. But for use indoors in moderate lighting or outdoors at night, it offers good picture quality and brightness for the money. The projector is even usable on a wall next to a window on a sunny day, although the picture is not as bright as it would be in a dim room. Still, it was better than expected in this regard, coming as a pleasing discovery during testing. While additional brightness to make the projector shine better through daylight would be a plus, it’s not something I’d expect at this price point. And it is to Aurzen’s credit that they don’t claim that the projector has more light output than it actually does, and that the projector lives up to its stated specs.AUDIO:The projector speakers sound clear and rich, and provide surprising volume for the small size. Movies and music are easy to hear, and the sound is quite impressive for a simple projector. I was actually stunned by how deep the sound was when first opening Netflix. And at high volume levels it remained loud and clear. The projector offers audio output via bluetooth and aux cable, which allow it to be connected to larger amplified speakers if even more immersive, booming sound is desired. While it is not noticeable on the built-in stereo speakers, the projector features Dolby Digital and Atmos decoding which provides a much richer experience if using external speakers. There are preset and user-customizable audio equalizer effects that can optimize the sound for movies, music, and other content.INTERFACE:The projector's menus and settings are intuitive, attractive, and responsive. Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video are pre-loaded and the remote control has dedicated buttons to quickly access these apps, with many more such as Hulu, Disney+, ESPN, Peacock, Vimeo, BBC, Dailymotion, Plex, and BritBox, available through the on-screen display or app store. It was easy to navigate the various menus and features without having to read a manual. Autofocus and auto-keystone were quick and effective, and can be set to automatically re-adjust if the projector is moved. It would be nice to see future projector models from Aurzen include the Google Play store, but at this price point it’s not a major issue since most of the popular apps are still available.USB MEDIA COMPATIBILITY:This projector impressed me by being able to play nearly all of the common file formats I threw at it -- x.264, h.264, x.265, and h.265 in different containers such as .mp4 and .mkv. One nonstandard .m2ts file would not play, which I expected, and out of several .mkv all played successfully except for one with a DTS audio codec and another that had HEVC video. Every other file worked, and I had to go out of my way to find the few that were less common codecs to give the projector hiccups. So this isn’t a major downside so much as an area for Aurzen to consider improving in a firmware update or future models. The only major limitation, which is common in projectors at this price point, is that FAT32 formatted drives are supported but exFAT is not. This is somewhat technical, but the effect is that video files are limited to 4 GB. This probably will not be noticeable for most people, who will mainly use the streaming apps instead of USB, and most 1080p movies can be under 4GB and still look great. But very long movies or higher quality HDR and 4K videos will be too large to be saved onto a FAT32 formatted drive. Hopefully this can also be addressed in the future. One quirk is that the fast-forward and rewind features for USB media require the remote to be pressed repeatedly instead of quickly selecting 2x, 4x, 16x, etc. or scanning the play progress timeline to quickly select a point in the video to skip to. However this was not an issue with the streaming apps, so most users will probably not encounter this, and it was still easy to skip back and forth when watching USB videos.DESIGN AND BUILD:The projector is sleek and made of a relatively high quality plastic. In this price range there are some projectors with similar features, but comparatively poor build quality. The physical buttons on the projector are simple and maintain a clean appearance. The packaging, documentation, and the projector itself are all of decent quality and made by a company that cares about the product they make.OTHER:It would be ideal if a storage/carrying case was included at the price of this projector, as they are often bundled with projectors that cost less than $100. That is not a major omission, but would be nice to have especially if the projector is used outdoors or in a portable manner. One small improvement in the D1 Pro as compared to the previous model is that the power adapter and cable were modified so that the plug only takes up one outlet on the wall or a power strip.CONCLUSION:This is an excellent projector at the current $170 price. As long as you will be using the projector in a dark environment, I think the blend of features, functionality, picture quality and brightness, full 1080p resolution, quality speakers, and good design make this one a solid choice. And it will only get better if the price comes down over time. It has been fun and satisfying to use so far, and has done well in most normal use scenarios other than very brightly-lit environments. You can find similar projectors for up to $300 with tradeoffs between various features and build quality. The Aurzen Eazze D1 Pro has provided a great experience so far and is worthy of a recommendation. It simply works well, has useful features, looks and sounds great, and is quite impressive for a value-oriented projector.

Great quality easy set up
This was one of my best Amazon purchases yet!! I don’t have a TV in my room and have been wanting one for quite a while. I don’t watch a lot of TV , but that might change now! I wanted to make sure that when I purchased a projector it would be worth the money: this is super nice , sleek design and also very decently sized. The packaging was very nice, secure and came with everything you need and then some (including some little tools to clean the projector with, and some additional chords if needed). Along with the instructions, it came with a cheat sheet to help access the projector. When I got to setting it up, I would say it literally took about about 10 minutes if even that. Super easy. When I got it set up the light quality and sound quality are absolutely amazing. I feel like I’ve got a little theatre in my room.

Just Purchased in February
I just recently ordered this projector and was excited about receiving it. The projector holds up to the description of the lighting as well as it showing a beautiful picture. BUT about 5 days ago, I went to power on the projector and NO PICTURE or LIGHT was coming from the projector ONLY SOUND. I have went on the manufacturer website and followed troubleshooting steps but nothing has worked. I have attempted to reach out to the manufacturer by telephone but can not get anyone on the line. The projector has been in one spot since I’ve purchased it, which is in our family room. It has not been dropped nothing has been spilled on it or anything of such. I am giving this projector 0 STARS because I just purchased it on February 2nd and it’s April 21st and it has just completely blacked out. I would like a replacement but unfortunately I can’t reach the Manufacturer to discuss this matter. And as a result I’m leaving this review.UPDATE : I was able to reach out to Aurzen and was able to speak with someone. They reassured me that they were happy to help. I spoke with a young lady by the name of Kelly and sent over videos of my issue. I was told that they would be happy to send out another projector seeing that the issue was not a problem that I caused. I proceeded to send my address to them and within two days I had a new projector at my door. They told me it would take about a week but it came before time. Thank you Aurzen for caring about your customers and being so quick to get back to me and help with my issue.

Great value, great support team.
This projector seemed a good value for the price. Setting it up was pretty easy, the keystone adjustments were easy enough, it comes out of the box with several common apps already installed (e.g. Netflix, Max, Amazon) it also has an hdmi input for a Roku or Firestick and a USB for power to the stick. The sound is actually quite good on the projector. You can hook up your own bluetooth speakers if you like. The color is pretty rich the picture is really good on just a white wall (would probably be better on an actual screen). It's a little faded in a well light room but with the lights out or most out it is very viewable. We were really digging it, however, we had the projector bulb die less than 4 months after getting it. Turns out the bulb is LED and built in (surprise) not replaceable. It was supposed to last WAAY longer than that. After contacting the company and letting them know the issue and proving we had purchased it and sending a short video of the issue, they gave a very detailed steps for returning. I did have to pay for the return shipping (about 25 bucks from the east coast) Within a week we got a new one, the folks at Aurzen were very helpful and responsive to emails so I applaud them on that. Hopefully, the new one lasts us a long time now!
