Good ol' kinzu shaped mouse, but needs some revision.
Thus far this is has been the best mouse in term of size and shape, to allow me the best aiming level. It should fit anyone with hands 18cm long or shorter, i palm/claw grip and my hand size is 18x10cm approx.Theres a good extimate to find the perfect mouse for aiming performance, and its usually the 60% of your hand,i think the ec2 was bit more fitting in general size but i really prefer ambidextrous shape and definetely can feel more comfortable with the dm3 over the ec2.Anyhow talking about the negatives there are some really important points to be made, that can off put many buyers especially if they don't love the kinzu shape.1) bad sensor position (instead of being centered as in the old kinzu v1 is more the lower on the lower y axis and this cause some "akwardness" when aiming, yes you can get used to the lower sensor position but it's not something beneficial as it ruins the "balance feeling" of the mouse).2)wobbly and loose scroll wheel, i eventually rma the copy that i got from amazon to DM and they been kind to fix it like it was supposed to be, yet it's quite frustating to buy a mouse that you already know it will need to be rma'd . (this problem can also be lived with but a nice and steady scroll is definetely preferable so no...)3)stiff cable, personally i managed to get over it with the bungee you just leave the cable length that you need to swipe around the mousepad and it should be fine, but still it could've been ligther like the new DM1 cables.4) improvable coating, yes this coating is still quite good but i'd have preffered a more "rubberized" feeling like the SteelSeries Sensei5) improvable design, there's a lack of space for the ring finger (at the end of the mouse where M1&2 edge with the finger) this is a flaw that actually comes from the whole SteelSeries old mice collection that has been revamped by DM, but i can't really stress this problem too much as i understand that re-designing mouse shapes can be extremely expensive due to mold production.
