Out of the box, first thing i noticed was how light it was. The scales are thin, the overall size is just about perfect. Got it on sale and I'm happy with the sale price to value. Flipper deploys the blade well, easy to use but its the only method. Blade was sharp, shaves hair. Overall look was good, action was smooth. I like it a lot but I'd love it if the blade was 154CM instead of the Nitro-v.

Wanted a good everyday pocket knife before I retire. I am 62 years old and have been carrying a pocket knife since I was about10. I will not spend a lot of money for a name. It surpassed my expeditions . It is light weight, the grip fits my hand good, perfect size, the blade is very solid in the open position, the blade is very sharp-too early to see how it holds an edge. I feel this a very good knife for the money.

Daily carried this knife for about 4 months straight and has become one of my favorites to have in the pocket. For being on the smaller side, my large hands have no issues with the grip. Blade is extremely sharp, and restored to a razor sharp edge after a light first sharpening (2 months after daily use of opening packages, Christmas presents, light use on construction jobsite). Action on the knife is fantastic and even a half press opens the knife in a snap. The overall fit and finish on this knife make it on of my favorite sub 3” (barely) pocket knives. For the price you cannot beat the quality being delivered in this knife between the materials, design, and final execution. Kizer customer for life now.

I love this knife. It felt quality as soon as I opened it. The action was smooth. And it came razor sharp out of the box. It's really easy to carry. And can switch clip sides for right and left hand carry. With the flipper tab opening it is a breeze. Only thing wrong when I got it blades wasn't perfectly centered. But I just watched a YouTube video and centered. Super easily. Just had to loosen the body screws and tighten back down

I would say that this is a 20$ knife at best. I got the g10 version and the liner barely engages the blade. Also its easy to disengage the blade when squeezing the handle because there is a cut out in the handle to make it easier for one handed closing but id rather have a blade that wont accidentally close and have to use two hands to close it. Yet another crazy thing I found out by researching… the knife pivot is riveted! I couldn’t even adjust the liner tab tension or polish the knife catch to allow for better liner lock engagement if I wanted too. First time I’ve seen that. Blade is off center when closed. So annoying for a budget knife with so much potential. I dont know how the micarta version may differ.

Excellent EDC piece with a comfortable grip for small to medium size hands and super engaging action. This is a small, simple, no non-sense, light to medium duty pocket knife of a high build quality. Great example of Kizer's manufacturing capacity. It has the best liner lock detent of any knife in my collection.

Absolutely love this knife. I've purchased cheaper knives and much much more expensive knives in the past and this one really hits a sweet spot for me. The quality to cost is outstanding.

This is my second Kizer knife, and just like the other one it is very high quality! Just can't beat the price for what you get. Very sharp and holds a edge well. Easy to sharpen back to razor edge. Smooth action opening and closing. Looking for my third now!
