Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 API SM/SN Fully Synthetic Truck Motor Cars Oil (4 L)

Used it in my 2015 Honda Jazz petrol. The engine has become much smoother than before (although it could easily be that the additive pack on my car's factory engine oil was past its prime at around 80% of manufacturer recommended service interval).Would recommend everyone to go for quality aftermarket oil instead of dealer supplied oils since it makes a huge and perceptible difference to the engine. My favorite oils (for most general applications in India) are:> Petrol 5w30: this oil> Petrol 5w40: Shell Helix ultra (cheaper than the comparable Mobil 0w40 :) )> Diesel 5w40: Mobil Delvac 1Note that there does not seem to be a top quality 5w30 Diesel engine oil available in India!What I like about this oil is that it carries MB 229.51 and VW 504 00 / 507 00 certifications which is about as tough as oil certifications get (far tougher than API)Also, kudos to the supplier. I got the package in good and un-tampered condition

It is probably the only oil available in India which is certified to be used in VW/Skoda/Audi/Porsche(2010 and onwards models or CR (Common Rail) and other big brands. This one carries the certification of VW 507/505 01 which makes it the only oil as per the specifications given by VW and Skoda for Diesel TDI engines.If you are worried about the 5w30 rating then please don't. The Flashpoint of this oil is 254 Degree Celcius, which is way above the flashpoint of many 5w40 or 0w40 oils. Plus the car is liquid cooled. Either way,the car engine temp is not going to exceed the set limit.Please Note: Do not use VW505 00 oil in your Volkswagen or Skoda car. That oil is not approved to be used in new 2010+ CR engines. Using non-certified oil might cause some engine parts to become noisy. (Very common is high-pressure fuel pump, it is located in engine compartment and is different from the one in fuel tank, and it super expensive to replace)​Owner of any Jetta mk6 or new octavia should use this oil exclusivly

This is the recommended spec oil for Honda earthdreams engine. Used it in my amaze idtec, you can feel the difference immediately after driving for few kms, engine is so smooth and it will last longer than the company filled oil. There was no increase in the engine sound till 12k. Using it for the second time. And probably I would stick to this.

I was using Mobil 3000 5w30 oil on my Honda city and for this oil change (10k kms) I ordered this Mobil 1 esp advanced fully synthetic oil to see how it works out. Firstly the product you get doesn’t match the photo given here. The product says maintains fuel economy. However after driving about 200 kms in light to moderate city traffic with this I can say I see no noticeable difference in mileage or performance of the car.Just to clear other aspects of the car aren’t a problem, all filters including oil filter, engine air filter have been replaced with brand new ones.So at 3700 ish rupees I do not think it’s really worth the price premium it is commanding, at least not for a Honda city 1.5 petrol.I’ll keep updating this review during my time using this oil.

Good replacement for service center engine oil for Honda diesel engines. Have used it for Honda Amaze iDTEC, observed smooth performance and little better mileage. Engine sound reduction is not that significant, may be due to the aluminium engine block used in earth dreams engines. Can easily go till 15k kms for next oil change.
